A man goes drinking with his friend and goes home to his wife.

Wallace had performed the sketch on stage in 1939. [3] [4] It was the second time he had appeared on film, following George Wallace, Australia's Premier Comedian. [5] [6] [7] [8]

Wallace was reportedly the real director, although F.W. Thring is credited. [9]

Release

The film was widely screened as a support feature for Efftee movies in 1932. [10]

Reception

Everyones said "George is a splendid comedian, and the gags keep the laughs coming at a fast bat." [11] The Brisbane Daily Standard wrote, "No funnier talkie short has ever been filmed in this city. George is even better on the films than on the legitimate stage. " [12]
