The Oi Rio Pro 2018 was an event of the 2018 World Surf League. It was held from 11 to 20 May at Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and contested by 36 surfers.

2018 World Surf League sporting competition event

The 2018 World Surf League Championship Tour (CT) is a professional competitive surfing league run by the World Surf League, starting on 11 March 2018. Men and women compete in separate tours with events taking place from late March to mid-December, at various surfing locations around the world.

Saquarema Municipality in Southeast, Brazil

Saquarema is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. Its population is 83,750 (2016) and its area is 353,566 km². It is located almost 73 km east of Rio de Janeiro. It was known as Brazil's surfing capital. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Brazil.
