Olbramovice (German : Wolframitz) is a market town (městys) in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

German language West Germanic language

German is a West Germanic language that is mainly spoken in Central Europe. It is the most widely spoken and official or co-official language in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol (Italy), the German-speaking Community of Belgium, and Liechtenstein. Městys is a status conferred on certain municipalities in the Czech Republic, lying in terms of size and importance higher than that of obec, but lower than that of město. Sometimes, "město" is translated as "city" and "městys" is translated as "town" or "market town".

Znojmo District is one of seven districts (okres) within South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. Its capital is the town of Znojmo.

The town covers an area of 17.21 square kilometres (6.64 sq mi), and has a population of 1,044 (as at 3 July 2006).

Olbramovice lies approximately 31 kilometres (19 mi) north-east of Znojmo, 29 km (18 mi) south-west of Brno, and 188 km (117 mi) south-east of Prague.
