Old School is the debut extended play by Canadian country music singer, Tebey. It was released July 8, 2016 through Road Angel Entertainment and Warner Music Canada. [1] The EP includes the top-20 Canada Country singles "When the Buzz Wears Off" and "Jealous of the Sun", as well as Tebey's top-5 cover of Avicii's "Wake Me Up", which was also included on his 2014 album, Two .

Tebey co-wrote all five of the original tracks on the extended play and co-produced every song with Danick Dupelle, except for "Lightweight". He toured in support of the record in July and August 2016. [2]

Singles

"When the Buzz Wears Off" serves as the record's first single and was released on April 7, 2015. [3] It reached a peak position of 16 on the Canada Country airplay chart dated July 18, 2015. [4]

The second single, "Jealous of the Sun", was released October 2, 2015. [5] It peaked at 19 on the Canada Country chart. [4]

"Lightweight" was released May 6, 2016 as the third single and official lead single for the EP. [6] [2] It entered the Canada Country chart at number 48 on the chart dated July 2, 2016 and eventually reached a peak position of 37 on the chart dated August 6, 2016. [4]

Other songs

Tebey and Emerson Drive's cover of Avicii's "Wake Me Up" is also included on the extended play. It was previously recorded for Tebey's second studio album, Two (2014) and released as a single from that album in 2013. It charted at number 56 on the Canadian Hot 100 and at number 5 on Canada Country, making it his most successful single to date.

Tebey Solomon Ottoh, known mononymously as Tebey, is a Canadian-American country music singer and multi-genre songwriter. His debut single, "We Shook Hands ", hit No. 47 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and remains his only American chart hit. Tim Bergling, known professionally as Avicii, was a Swedish DJ, remixer, record producer, musician and songwriter. His debut studio album, True (2013), blended electronic music with elements of multiple genres and received generally positive reviews. Bass Down Low 2010 single by Dev

"Bass Down Low" is the debut single by American recording artist Dev, written and performed by Dev and The Cataracs. Produced by The Cataracs, the song was released on November 16, 2010, through Universal Motown as the lead single for Dev's debut studio album, The Night the Sun Came Up (2011). Initially, the song was made for The Cataracs with Dev as the featured act, but she was made the main artist as they believed it would be a suitable follow-up to Far East Movement's "Like a G6", which Dev and The Cataracs appeared on. American girl group Fifth Harmony has released three studio albums, six extended plays, eleven singles, and seventeen music videos. After finishing third on the second season of The X Factor US the group was signed to Epic Records though Syco Music. Less than a year later, Fifth Harmony released their debut single from their debut extended play, "Miss Movin' On". The single charted on the Mainstream Top 40 and New Zealand, peaking at 27 in both countries. It was certified Gold in the United States for selling combined sales and track-equivalent streams units of 500,000.
