Kamikaze is the fourth studio album by American rapper Twista. It was released on January 27, 2004, by Atlantic Records. The album reached the top of the US Billboard 200 chart in early 2004, after the success of its lead single, "Slow Jamz". It sold 312,000 units in its first week of sales, and received generally positive reviews from critics. It is Twista's most successful album, being certified double platinum by the RIAA.
"Hope" is a song by American rapper Twista from the soundtrack of the 2005 movie Coach Carter. Featuring singer Faith Evans who performs the chorus, the song mainly focuses on Twista's view on the War on Terrorism. The version featuring Faith Evans can also be found on her album The First Lady. The song was released to US rhythmic and urban radio on November 22, 2004. The original version of the song appears on Twista's Kamikaze album and features CeeLo Green instead of Faith Evans.
"Ghetto" is the second single from American singer-songwriter Akon's debut studio album, Trouble. The single was released on December 21, 2004, exclusively in Latin America and certain countries of Europe. The single peaked at #92 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Akon describes the meaning of the song, reflected in the song's lyrics, as "a description of the cycle of poverty experienced by those living in poor, inner-city areas". Additionally, it describes the physical and psychological oppression with which these residents must deal on a regular basis.
"So Lonely" is a song written and produced by American singer Mariah Carey and record producer Rodney Jerkins. It is a duet between rapper Twista and Carey, featured on his album The Day After and Carey's reissue of The Emancipation of Mimi (2005), subtitled Ultra Platinum Edition. It was unofficially released in 2006 as the third single from The Day After. The version on The Emancipation of Mimi serves as a sequel track to "One and Only", another track from The Emancipation of Mimi, and is subtitled "One and Only Part 2". The version on The Day After serves as a sequel track to that and is therefore subtitled "One and Only Part 3".
Strength & Loyalty, originally titled The Bone Thugs Story, is the seventh studio album by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, released on May 8, 2007. It was Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's first major album after an absence of nearly five years. The album contains guest appearances by Akon, Autumn Rowe, Bow Wow, Felecia, Fleetwood Mac (sampled), Mariah Carey, Swizz Beatz, The Game, Twista, will.i.am, and Yolanda Adams. Producers include Akon, DJ Toomp, Jermaine Dupri, Mally Mall, Neo Da Matrix, Pretty Boy & Bradd Young, Street Radio, Swizz Beatz, The Individuals, Ty Fyffe, and will.i.am. The executive producer of the album was Swizz Beatz. Bizzy Bone was not featured on the album. Then imprisoned member Flesh-n-Bone was only featured on a track entitled "Into The Future" which did not make the album and also due to his incarceration did not make the album cover.

"I'm 'n Luv (wit a Stripper)" (censored as "I'm 'n Luv (wit a Dancer)") is a single written and performed by American singer T-Pain featuring American rapper Mike Jones. Produced by the former, it was released in late 2005 and peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it T-Pain's second top ten single, and Mike Jones's first. The track is T-Pain's third most successful single on the chart, tying with "Bartender". "I'm 'n Luv (wit a Stripper)" is also Mike Jones's highest charting single. The official remix of the song features Twista, Pimp C, R. Kelly, Too Short, Paul Wall and MJG, and was accompanied with its own music video.
"Girl Tonite" is the first single from Twista's Atlantic album, The Day After. It features R&B singer Trey Songz. "Girl Tonite" peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified gold by the RIAA on June 14, 2006. The song samples "Tonight" by Ready for the World.
"I Wanna Love You" is a song written and recorded by American singer Akon featuring American rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released in October 2006 as the second single from his second studio album, Konvicted. It is also featured on Snoop Dogg's eighth album, Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. This song was Akon's first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and was also Snoop's second #1 on the same chart. It also reached a peak of #3 on the UK Singles Chart. The track originally had Akon as a featured artist and was performed by rapper Plies from Fort Myers, Florida, but his verse was replaced by Snoop's and his name has been left out from the writers' credits. This song was #88 on MTV Asia's list of Top 100 Hits of 2007. The song was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 50th Grammy Awards in 2008.
"I Can't Wait" is the seventh and final single from Senegalese singer-songwriter Akon's second studio album, Konvicted. The song was released as a digital download only single on April 14, 2008. The song features additional vocals from R&B singer T-Pain. The song was added to and peaked at the C-list on BBC Radio 1's playlist. The song reached #116 on the UK Singles Chart. The original version of the song was entitled "You and Me", and was written for T-Pain's debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga.
"Dangerous" is a song by Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall featuring American singer Akon. Produced by DJ Kemo and hAZEL, it was the first single from his fourth album, Not 4 Sale. It was released to radio in March 2008, and on iTunes on April 1. On the week of May 13, at the American iTunes Store, the song was offered as a free download. It was released to radio in the United States on February 10, 2009, and May 21, 2009 as a single in the United Kingdom. It features R&B singer Akon and is the first single from the re-release of her debut album, Shontelligence. It is also featured on the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack. The song was the second single from Shontelligence in the UK, being added to BBC Radio 1's C-list playlist on April 22, 2009, and has since reached the B-List. "Stuck with Each Other" also reached the A-List of BBC Radio 2's playlist. It became her second top 30 hit in the UK Singles Chart.

The album production from long-time collaborators Tim & Bob, as well as Bryan-Michael Cox, The Pentagon, Jazze Pha, LOS Da Mystro, and Bobby V himself. The album features guest rappers 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Cyhi Da Prynce, Plies & Twista. The album debuted at No. 9 on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 38,000 copies in the United States and fell to No. 60 in its following week.
"Slow Wind" is a 2005 single by R. Kelly from his seventh solo studio album TP.3 Reloaded, which is the second sequel to his iconic album known as 12 Play. The song was entirely written and produced by R. Kelly himself. The song is about three and a half minute long and a music video has been made for the song. "Slow Wind" is the fourth single on the album and made it at number 30 in the R&B/Hip Hop charts in the US, The remix made it at number 91 in the same chart and was released on R. Kelly's first remix compilation album the same year, Remix City, Volume 1. The remix featured Sean Paul and the R&B singer Akon on the track. No music video has been made for the remix, the remix is about one minute longer than the original.
