Only the Names Have Been Changed is the 2007 debut solo album by Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones.
As Jones explains, "... we were recording the sixth Stereophonics album... and in-between takes I started doing these songs off the cuff. Three or four tracks in I realised that this could actually be something... strange how it's always little things that makes big things happen. We didn't wait – it was recorded 7 and 8 January and mastered by Friday the 12th... every song is a live take... we actively decided to make it a bit more filmic. In two days we put down 10 tracks with 10 different girls names... we wanted to do something in the vein of Nick Cave's Murder Ballads or Johnny Cash's Blood, Sweat and Tears .[ citation needed ]
Interviewed for The Guardian in 2013, Jones was asked if the names of the songs were named after his ex-girlfriends. He replied: "No. It started as a joke. I had two songs called Susie and Jane and said: "If we had another eight, we could call it Only the Names Have Been Changed." It went to No 1, I went out and got drunk and got caught peeing in the street in Camden. They gave me an £80 fine. That's my main memory." [5]

Stereophonics are a Welsh rock band formed in 1992 in the village of Cwmaman in the Cynon Valley, Wales. The band consists of Kelly Jones, Richard Jones, Adam Zindani, Jamie Morrison and touring member Tony Kirkham (keyboards). The group previously included Stuart Cable (1992–2003) and then Javier Weyler (2004–2012) on drums. Stereophonics have released twelve studio albums, including eight UK number one albums. A successful compilation album, Decade in the Sun, was released in November 2008 and charted at number two on the UK Album Chart.
You Gotta Go There to Come Back is the fourth studio album by alternative rock band Stereophonics. Produced by Kelly Jones and released on V2 in 2003, this LP became their third consecutive album to top the UK chart, selling 101,946 copies in its first week alone. It is the final Stereophonics album to feature long-time original drummer Stuart Cable before he was fired in September 2003. The album’s title comes from the eighth track "I'm Alright ".

"Dakota" (released in the United States as "Dakota (You Made Me Feel Like the One)") is a song by Welsh alternative rock band Stereophonics. It was the first single taken from their fifth studio album, Language. Sex. Violence. Other?, and was released on 28 February 2005. "Dakota" was the first and to date only Stereophonics single to reach number one and the last to reach the top ten on the UK Singles Chart and to chart on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. It also became the band's highest-charting single in both Australia and New Zealand. The song has been compared to the works of U2.

Pull the Pin is the sixth studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics, released by V2 in the UK on 12 October 2007. A Stereophonics newsletter released the Pull the Pin album artwork to subscribers. The cover was also shown to Myspace users that had added the band in a bulletin.

Prior to the Fire is the second studio album by Canadian hard rock group Priestess. Recorded in Los Angeles with producer David Schiffman, the album was initially released on October 20, 2009, by Indica Records in Canada. By design, the album lacks the production values of the band's debut album, Hello Master, in order to achieve a more natural sound. As the band took more progressive rock influences and applied them to their songwriting, they changed their lyrical focus and wrote about themes considered to be more unusual for rock music, such as film and television characters, for this album.
Graffiti on the Train is the eighth studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. Produced by the group's lead-singer and guitarist Kelly Jones and Jim Lowe, it was released on 4 March 2013 on their own Stylus Records. It was the first Stereophonics album since Keep Calm and Carry On (2009), marking the first time they had not released a record within two years. It was intended for an October 2012 release date and took nearly two years to complete. This is the last record to feature drummer Javier Weyler, who was officially replaced by Jamie Morrison on 24 September 2012.

It is the first album to feature Jamie Morrison, who joined during the production of Graffiti on the Train in 2012. Kind is the eleventh studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics released on 25 October 2019 on Parlophone Records, nearly two years after their previous album, Scream Above the Sounds. Recorded over an eleven-day period between 29 June and 9 July 2019 at The Ramsbury Brewery & Distillery in Marlborough, Wiltshire, the album was produced by lead singer and guitarist Kelly Jones and George Drakoulias. Kind topped the UK Albums Chart, becoming the band's first to do so since Keep the Village Alive (2015) and their seventh overall.
Don't Let the Devil Take Another Day is the first live album by Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones. The album features 21 tracks on two discs, eighteen Stereophonics tracks, two tracks from Jones' 2007 solo album Only the Names Have Been Changed and a cover version of the Kris Kristofferson song, "Help Me Make It Through the Night". The album was recorded a variety of locations across Jones' 2019 solo tour.
Oochya! is the twelfth studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics, released on 4 March 2022 on Ignition Records. It is scheduled to be supported by a 2022 arena tour.
