Orange County Roller Derby or OC Roller Derby (OCRD) is a roller derby league based in Huntington Beach, California. Founded in 2006, the league currently consists of one travel team which competes against teams from other leagues, and one home team.
The league was founded in June 2006 by Heather Shelton, known as Disco Dervish. Early members included the Orange County District Attorney and, by April 2007, it had hosted three sold-out bouts. [1] It joined the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in January 2008, but became the first member to leave the organization, in March 2009. [2]
In May 2011, OCRG began skating on a banked track, in addition to its flat track events. [3] In June, it competed in the Battle on the Bank tournament. [4] OCRG was a founding member of the Roller Derby Coalition of Leagues in January 2012. [5]
The Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) is the international governing body for the sport of women's flat track roller derby, and association of leagues around the world. The organization was founded in April 2004 as the United Leagues Coalition (ULC), but was renamed in November 2005. It is registered in Raleigh, North Carolina as a 501(c)(6) business league organization, a type of nonprofit organization.
Rat City Roller Derby is a women's flat-track roller derby league in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 2004 as Rat City Rollergirls, LLC, the league has incorporated alternative cultural influences, and has inspired and mentored other leagues. Rat City is a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), and has achieved success on the WFTDA stage, qualifying for WFTDA Playoffs every season, including a second-place finish in the 2007 WFTDA Championships.

Gotham Girls Roller Derby (GGRD) is a flat track roller derby league based in New York City, New York. Founded in late 2003, Gotham is the first flat track roller derby league in the metropolitan New York area and a founding member league of the sport's governing body, the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). GGRD is one of the preeminent leagues in roller derby, having won five WFTDA Championships. Today, the league is composed of four New York City-based teams, three travel teams, a competitive developmental team, a non competitive recreational program and a juniors program for youth.

Bay Area Derby (BAD) was founded in 2004 and is a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). BAD is a skater-owned and -operated 501(c)(3) non-profit league. The league is composed of four teams for intra-league play, and an all-star travel team that competes nationally. As of 2016, BAD was ranked in the top 20 overall in WFTDA.
The Victorian Roller Derby League is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Melbourne, in the Australian state of Victoria. Founded in 2007, the VRDL contains two home teams, the Dead Ringer Rosies and the Toxic Avengers, and also three travel teams, the VRDL All Stars, the Bees, Notorious V.I.Cs and Demons, who compete in interleague competitions within Australia and internationally. VDRL is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), having gained membership in December 2011. In November 2017, VRDL became the first non-American team to win the WFTDA Championships. Since April 2017, VRDL is the top-ranked team in the WFTDA, following Gotham's run at the top since January 2013.

Tilted Thunder Rail Birds (TTRB) is a Seattle, Washington based, all-female, banked track roller derby league. They are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization run by a volunteer force of skaters and league members committed to promoting and raising awareness of women's roller derby, especially banked track roller derby. TTRB is composed of strong, friendly, intelligent, enthusiastic women from all walks of life pursuing emotional growth and physical strength by challenging their perceived limits. As a league, they also wish to promote mental and physical empowerment, development of skills, loyalty on and off the track, individuality, and friendship - throughout the entire sport, both locally and nationally.
