Origin is the ninth full-length studio album of Finnish melodic death metal band Omnium Gatherum. It was released on 5 November 2021 via Century Media Records. [1] The band toured for the album in February and March 2022 in North America, supported by Allegaeon and Black Crown Initiate, [8] [9] [10] and from September to November 2022 in Europe, as special guests in the Veleno Across Europe Tour by Fleshgod Apocalypse. [11]

It is the band's first album Century Media, which released their previous albums in America, as their main label, as well as their last first without longtime drummer Jarmo Pikka, who initially left temporarily for a paternity leave, but eventually, Pikka's departure was made permanent and fill-in drummer Tuomo Latvala was promoted to being a full-time member, though just for this album.

Omnium Gatherum is the 20th studio album and first double album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, released on 22 April 2022. The album was announced on 8 March 2022 and made available for pre-order on 22 March. It marked the first studio release where all band members are playing together live since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. As with previous releases, the album features music of numerous genres, including psychedelia, progressive rock, heavy metal and synth-pop, as well as the band's first experiments with hip hop. It received generally positive reviews, although critics were divided on its length and consistency.

Anno 1696 is the ninth studio album by Finnish melodic death metal band Insomnium, released on 24 February 2023 via Century Media. Insomnium began working on the album shortly before the release of Argent Moon, in 2021, with the album originally planned to be released in 2022. Like their 2016 album Winter's Gate, the album is based on a short story by vocalist/bassist Niilo Sevänen, first hinted on October 24, 2022, less than two weeks before the album's official announcement. It is the final release to feature guitarist Jani Liimatainen.

Cemetery Skyline is a goth rock group founded by Michael Stanne, Markus Vanhala, Santeri Kallio, Victor Brandt and Vesa Ranta. They are influenced by Sisters of Mercy and Type O Negative.
