Orlintsi is a village in Sredets Municipality, in Burgas Province, in southeastern Bulgaria. [1] As of 2007 it had a population of 353. [2]
GERB Hristinka Shopova won the partial local election in 2018 with 159 votes. The village had a high turnout of 80%. [3]
In 2006, robbers broke into the village church stealing a bell, a 1.5m high metal candle and other valuables. [4]
The house of an 81-year-old couple burned down in June 2017. Only a television was saved from the flames. [5]
Burgas, sometimes transliterated as Bourgas, is the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast in the region of Northern Thrace and the fourth-largest city in Bulgaria after Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna, with a population of 203,000 inhabitants, while 277,922 live in its urban area. It is planned to be the home ground of the local PFC Chernomorets Burgas and may be one of the most expensive stadiums in Europe. The stadium will be part of a modern complex with a mall, underground parking area, indoor sports hall with a capacity of 3,500 spectators, three business towers and a five-star luxury hotel. The whole complex will cost 1 billion euros, according by the owner of Chernomorets and Petrol Holding AD Mitko Sabev.

Petya of My Petya is a 2021 Bulgarian drama film directed by Alexander Kossev and written by Valentina Angelova and Nelly Dimitrova. The film was named on the shortlist for Bulgarian's entry for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards, but was not selected. Konstantin Zhivkov Bachiyski is a Bulgarian politician and the chairman of the Middle European Class party. He has served as a municipal councillor for two terms representing the party in Burgas from 2015 to 2021.
