Otto Rottman was a Romanian athlete. He competed in the men's javelin throw at the 1928 Summer Olympics. [1] Rottman is deceased. [2]
Rottman was from Bistrița, a city which held a large sports meet in 1914, for residents of Bistrița and nearby Cluj, during a period of strength and popularity in athletics and gymnastics there. This set a foundation for good results at a national scale, leading to Rottman being one of various Bistrița athletes selected for Romanian teams, including at the 1928 Olympics. [3]
