Oumar Doudai Abakar (born 1 January 2005) is a Qatari hurdler. [1]
He was a silver medalist in tne 110m hurdles at both the 2023 Asian U20 Athletics Championships. [2] He won a bronze medal with the Qatari 4 x 400 metres relay team at the 2023 Asian Championships. [3]
He won the gold medal at the 2024 Asian U20 Athletics Championships in a championship record time. [4] He competed at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru. [5] He ended 2024 as the sixth fastest under-20 athlete over 110m hurdles. [6]
He competed in the 60 metres hurdles at the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing. [7]
His brother Ismail Abakar is also a hurdler. [8]
