Owen Brown (born 4 September 1960) is a footballer who played as a forward. He is best known for his stints in the Football League with Tranmere Rovers. [1]
Brown moved into coaching after his playing career ended, with Prescot Cables. [2] From 1996 to 1999, he was manager of Barrow, winning the UniBond Premier title in 1998. With the club struggling in the Conference, Brown was sacked the following year. He then took up a job coaching Liverpool's under-19 side, and later worked as a coach for Altrincham. [3]
In 2001, Brown was appointed manager of Droylsden, but was sacked after a few weeks in charge. [3] In 2002, Brown was the joint caretaker manager of Chester City. In 2003, Brown was appointed manager of Vauxhall Motors, succeeding Alvin McDonald. [4] He resigned two years later, following a run of seven defeats that left the club rooted to the bottom of the Conference North. [5]
At Liverpool, he worked in various positions, including as a scout, player liaison officer and advisor to then-manager Rafael Benítez. [6]
Tranmere Rovers Football Club is a professional association football club based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, England. The team compete in EFL League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. Founded in 1884 as Belmont Football Club, they adopted their current name in 1885. Tranmere's regular kit is an all-white strip with blue, or occasionally blue and green trim, their main colours since 1962. The club moved to its current home, Prenton Park, in 1912. In 1995, the ground had a major redevelopment in response to the Taylor Report. It now seats 16,567 in four stands: the Main Stand, the Kop, the Johnny King Stand and the Cowshed.

Ryan Thomas Lowe is an English football manager and former professional player, who is manager of Championship side Preston North End. His playing career, as a striker, began at Burscough in 1999 and he became a Football League player with Shrewsbury Town the following year. He played for eight league clubs in all and had three spells at Bury. In the second half of the 2010–11 season, Lowe established a Bury club record by scoring a goal in each of nine consecutive league games.

David Thomas Kelly, also known by the nickname Ned Kelly, is a former Republic of Ireland international footballer and football coach. He scored nine goals in 26 international games for the Republic of Ireland, and was a squad member for UEFA Euro 1988, the 1990 FIFA World Cup, and the 1994 FIFA World Cup. A forward, he scored a total of 250 goals in 744 league and cup appearances in a 19-year career in professional football.

Raymond Mathias is an English football coach and former player. He has spent most of his career in the lower leagues of English football. Mathias played for Tranmere Rovers between 1964 and 1985, and remains their record appearance holder having played 637 games for the club. After his retirement he spent three years as manager of Wigan Athletic, briefly returning to the role for the 1998–99 season; between these two spells he returned to Tranmere as a coach, and later managed the side before moving on to Chester City in a caretaker role.
