The Professional Squash Association, or PSA, was formed in 1975, is the governing body for the men's and women's (since 2014) professional squash circuit. The previous women's squash tour were the Women's International Squash Players Association, or WISPA, between 1993 and 2011, follow by the Women's Squash Association between 2011 and 2014.

The World Squash Championships are squash events, which since the early 1990s have been held annually for both men and women organised by the Professional Squash Association. The men's event was first held in 1976 in London, England and the women's was inaugurated in 1976 in Brisbane, Australia.
The Professional Squash Association, aka PSA, is the governing body for the men's and women's professional squash circuit. The body operates in a similar fashion to the ATP and the WTA for tennis. The PSA's highest professional level, the PSA World Tour involves over 250 tournaments annually around the world. Over 1,200 players from five continents and more than 60 countries are registered with the PSA. Rankings are updated weekly based on performances.
Ong Beng Hee is a Malaysian former professional squash player and coach. Between 2000 and 2006, he won four consecutive Asian Championship titles. In 2002 and 2006 he won gold medals at the Asian Games. He won 11 Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour titles out of 19 final appearances, and earned a world ranking of No. 7, a career-best. This record has made him Malaysia's most successful male squash player in history.
Dipika Pallikal is an Indian professional squash player. She was the first Indian player to break into the top 10 in the world rankings.
Raneem Mohamed Yasser Saad El Din El Welily is a former professional squash player from Egypt. She reached a career-high world ranking of No. 1 in September 2015. She is a three-time finalist at the World Open, in 2014, 2016, and 2019-2020. She became the World Champion in 2017, after defeating her compatriot Nour El Sherbini in the finals.
The Official Women's Squash World Ranking is the official world ranking for women's squash. The WISPA, the WSA and the PSA has used a computerized system for determining the rankings since April 1984. The ranking is to rate the performance level of female professional squash players. It is also a merit-based method used for determining entry and seeding in women's squash tournaments. The rankings were initially produced monthly; this has been changed to weekly basis effective ranking issue dated August 29, 2022.
The Official Men's Squash World Ranking is the official world ranking for men's squash. The ranking is to rate the performance lvee of male professional squash players. It is also a merit-based method used for determining entry and seeding in men's squash tournaments. The rankings have been produced monthly then weekly since 29 August 2022. The current world number one is Ali Farag of Egypt.
Nour El Tayeb is a former professional squash player who represented Egypt. She reached a career-high ranking of World No. 3, in March 2018.
Simon Rösner is a German former professional squash player. He broke into the Top 10 PSA World Rankings for the first time in November 2014, going on to become the highest-ranked male German squash player of all time. Rösner subsequently reached a world ranking of No. 6 matching Germany's Sabine Schone's career-high world ranking of No. 6 in June 2015. Rösner broke into the world Top 5 in June 2018 and Top 3 in December 2018 making him the highest-ever-ranked German player.
Emma Beddoes is an English former professional squash player. She reached a career-high world ranking of World No. #11 in September 2015.
The PSA Squash Tour Finals is the end of season championship of the PSA Squash Tour of male and female professional squash players. The top eight players in the current PSA World Events ranking is qualified for the event.
The Women's Squash Association (WSA) was the governing body for the women's professional squash circuit between 2011 and 2014. It was based in London, England. The body operated in a similar fashion to the WTA for tennis. The WSA World Tour involved over 100 tournaments annually all over the globe. Over 250 players were registered with the WSA and rankings were updated monthly based on players' performances. In November 2014, the WSA and the PSA announced a historic merger between the two associations.[3] A decision was reached that will see the PSA operate as the governing body for both the women's and men's ranks from January 1, 2015.
The PSA World Series was a series of men's and women's squash tournaments which were part of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour for the squash season. The tournaments were some of the most prestigious events on the men's tour. The best-performing players in the World Series events qualified for the annual PSA World Series Finals tournament.
Mazen Hesham is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 7 in June 2023.
The PSA World Tour 2015 is the international squash tour organised circuit organized by the Professional Squash Association (PSA) for the 2015 men's and women's squash season. The most important tournament in the series is the World Championship held in Bellevue, Washington in the United States. The tour features three categories of regular events, World Series, which feature the highest prize money and the best fields, International and Challenger.
Jemyca Aribado is a Filipino professional squash player. As of February 2018, she was ranked number 83 in the world. By August 2017, she became the first Filipino player to break into the top 100 after she rose to rank 98.
Hania El Hammamy is an Egyptian professional squash player. She became a top seed in women's junior squash rankings at the age of 16. As of September 2024, she is ranked number 3 in the world.
Lee Ka Yi, is a Hong Kong professional squash player. As of December 2022, she was ranked number 43 in the world.
Tommy Berden is a retired Dutch professional squash player and an entrepreneur. He achieved his highest career ranking of 22 in December 2001.
Senga Macfie also spelt as Senga MacFie is an English-born Scottish former professional squash player. After retiring from playing professionally, she now coaches squash at Abercorn Sports Club in Edinburgh. She represented the Scotland national women's squash team in several international competitions including the British Open Squash Championships, World Open Squash Championships and in World Team Squash Championships in a career spanning from 1993 to 2010. She achieved her career-high PSA ranking of World No. 16 in January 1995 during the 1995 PSA World Tour.
