The Salt Lake Stadium is the main home of ATK Mohun Bagan, SC East Bengal. It is the second largest stadium in India by seating capacity. Before its renovation in 2011, it was the second largest football stadium in the world, having a seating capacity of 150,000. Prior to the construction and opening of Rungrado May Day Stadium in 1989, it was the largest football stadium in the world. The stadium hosted the final match of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, alongside hosting other matches of the tournament. As part of security measures for the 2017 U-17 World Cup, the stadium was only open for 66,687 viewers. It will be used again for the 2021 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

Pangong Tso Soda lake

Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m (13,862 ft). It is 134 km (83 mi) long and divided into five sublakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso and Nyak Tso. Approximately 50% of the length of the overall lake lies within Tibet, 40% in Ladakh and the rest is disputed but controlled by China. The lake is 5 km (3.1 mi) wide at its broadest point. All together it covers 604 km2. During winter the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. It has a land-locked basin separated from the Indus River basin by a small elevated ridge, but is believed to have been part of the latter in prehistoric times.

ATK Mohun Bagan Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. This new merged club was formed as part of a merger between football section of multi-sport club Mohun Bagan and former ISL side ATK. The club will begin play from the 2020–21 season. The Kolkata Metro is a rapid transit system serving Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. As of July 2020, it has two operational lines, a 27.22 km (16.91 mi) line from Noapara to Kavi Subhash and a 7.205 km (4.477 mi) line from Salt Lake Sector V to Phoolbagan, for a total of 34.425 km (21.391 mi). Four other lines are in various phases of construction. The system has a mix of underground, at-grade and elevated stations using both broad-gauge and standard-gauge tracks. Kolkata Metro Line 2 Transit line in Kolkata, India

Kolkata Metro Line 2 is a rapid transit line of the Kolkata Metro in the Indian state of West Bengal. It currently consists of an operational section between Salt Lake and Phoolbagan, and will eventually connect Teghoria with Howrah by going underneath the Hooghly River. It would consist of 17 stations from Teghoria (Haldiram) in the east to Howrah Maidan in the west, of which 11 would be elevated and 6 would be underground, with a total distance of 22 km. It is expected to derive a very high ridership since it will connect India's two largest commuter railway and long-distance railway terminals along with two of its largest business districts. Line 2 has India's first underwater metro tunnel along with the deepest metro shaft. The first phase between Salt Lake City Sector V and Salt Lake Stadium was inaugurated by Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on 13 February 2020 and commercial services started from 14 February 2020.

The Indian Super League (ISL) is a professional football league which represents the sport's highest level in India. The league comprises 11 teams with each season generally running from November to March. During the league stage of the competition, each club will play 20 games against the others in a round-robin style. The top four teams at the end of the league stage will qualify for the play-offs. The season will then culminate with the ISL Final to determine the champion. The league has been officially known as the Hero Indian Super League since its inception, due to a sponsorship agreement with Hero MotoCorp.

The 2019–20 Indian Super League season was the sixth season of the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. It was established in 2013. The regular season began on 20 October 2019 and concluded on 14 March 2020.
