Mangalorean Catholics are an ethno-religious community of Latin Christians from the Diocese of Mangalore and the erstwhile South Canara area, by the southwestern coast of present-day Karnataka, India.
Siolim is a village in Bardez taluka, and a census town on the central west coast of India, in the North Goa district of Goa. The 2001 population was 10,311, and 10,936 in 2011. Larry stars in the movie as a NRI boy, who comes back to Mangalore to get married, while Harshika plays the role of his bride. The movie was initially scheduled to be released on 9 September 2009 but was delayed by two months, finally being released on 27 November 2009.
