Palina Glebova (born 19 September 1996 in Moscow) is a German taekwondo athlete and Guinness World Record holder. [1]
Since November 2023, Glebova holds the Guinness World Record for throwing the most darts into a dartboard with one foot in one minute (she successfully threw nine darts, scoring 110 points). [2] [3] [4] [5]
She holds six additional world records recognized by the German Record Institute: [6] [7] [8]
Glebova began practising the Korean martial art taekwondo at the age of ten. [9] At junior level, Glebova achieved several podium places in full-contact (kyorugi) competitions at both regional and state championships. She has been an active poomsae athlete since she was a junior and has reached the podium several times.
As a senior, Glebova has continuously medalled since 2012, her highest national placement being fourth at a German national ranking tournament. [10] In June 2021, Glebova became a national kyorugi referee for Germany. She is also a poomsae state judge in Schleswig-Holstein. [6] [11]

Since 2021, Glebova is a recurring guest at ZDF-Fernsehgarten, where she performs taekwondo kicks and world records. [8] [12]
In 2021, Glebova appeared in the music video of the pop song "Siamo fatti cosi" by Anthony Bauer jr. and Rocco Costa. [13]
Glebova completed an apprenticeship as International Administration Manager, specialising in Office Management, in 2020 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies in 2022. [14] [15]

The Edeka Group is the largest German supermarket corporation as of 2017, holding a market share of 20.3%. The De La Salle Green Archers are the varsity teams representing De La Salle University in the Philippines. The Green Archer is the traditional university mascot and the varsity teams of De La Salle University are collectively referred to as the Green Archers, however, each team has a specific moniker depending on what sport they play. Premier League Darts, known for sponsorship purposes in 2024 as BetMGM Premier League Darts, is a darts tournament which launched on 20 January 2005 on Sky Sports. Now played weekly from February to May, the event originally started as a fortnightly fixture in small venues around the United Kingdom. The tournament originally featured seven players, gradually expanded to ten by 2013, before reduced again from 2022 to eight players from the Professional Darts Corporation circuit competing in a knockout style format, with nights also hosted in Europe at different venues. The top four players in the PDC Order of Merit are joined by four wildcard selections to make up the eight-person field. Alongside the World Championship and the World Matchplay, it is considered part of the sport's Triple Crown.
The PDC World Darts Championship, known for sponsorship purposes as the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), is a World Professional Darts Championship held annually in the sport of darts. The PDC world championship begins in December and ends in January and is held at Alexandra Palace in London and has been held there since 2008. It is the most prestigious of the PDC's tournaments, with the winner receiving the Sid Waddell Trophy, named in honour of the darts commentator Sid Waddell, who died in 2012. Along with the Premier League Darts and World Matchplay, it is considered part of the Triple Crown.
The World Masters is one of the longest-running and most prestigious of the BDO/WDF tournaments, which began in 1974. The tournament was originally sponsored by Phonogram before changing its sponsor in 1975 to darts board manufacturer, Winmau. The World Masters was originally contested as the best of 5 legs before later transitioning to the set format.
The German cannabis control bill is a bill passed by the German Bundestag in February 2024, and the Bundesrat in March, that legalised the adult use of cannabis in Germany, as well as the personal possession and cultivation of limited amounts of cannabis by adults in Germany, beginning on 1 April 2024. Adults in Germany are allowed to possess up to 25 grams of cannabis in public and up to 50 grams of dried cannabis at home. Each individual adult in Germany may also have up to three of their own cannabis plants at home. As part of the bill, adult-only non-profit cannabis social clubs with a maximum of 500 members will become legal in Germany from 1 July 2024.
Para taekwondo is an adaptation of taekwondo for disabled sportspeople. The sport's main governing body is World Taekwondo (WT). New disciplines such as kyorugi and poomsae, both martial arts forms, have been developed for para-athletes. On January 31, 2017, Para Taekwondo was confirmed as a sport for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) General Assembly the same year the WT became a full member of the IPC.

Patrick Breyer is a German digital rights activist, jurist, Pirate Party Germany politician, and – since 2019 – Member of the European Parliament (MEP).
