The esports department of Panathinaikos was established on 29 December 2016. [2] [3] [4] [5] In order to launch the team, the club partnered with CowboyTV, a local game tournament organiser and owner of professional eSports team Void Gaming (established in late 2012). The latter will remain active as the youth academy and official scrim partner of the club for League of Legends. [6]
The first teams that were announced will compete in the following titles: League of Legends , [7] Hearthstone, [8] and FIFA.
The establishment of an NBA 2K team was announced on 2 April 2020.

Dimitris Saravakos, nicknamed "the Kid", is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a forward. Saravakos is widely considered to be one of the greatest Greek footballers of all time and a Panathinaikos' legend. The IFFHS chose him in the best XI of all time of Greek football in 2021.
Panathinaikos V.C., also known simply as Panathinaikos, or with its full name Panathinaikos A.O. is the professional volleyball team of the major Athens based multi-sport club Panathinaikos A.O. Founded in 1919, it is one of the oldest and most successful volleyball clubs in Greece. They have won 20Greek Championships finishing 6 times undefeated, 6 Greek Cups, 3 Greek League Cups and 2 Greek Super Cups. They have reached also twice the CEV Cup final.

A.O. Giouchtas F.C., short for Athlitikos Omilos Archanes “Giouchtas” and also known simply as Giouchtas, is a Greek football club, based in Archanes, Heraklion. The Greek Volleyball Super Cup is a volleyball club competition that takes place in Greece since 1998. It is an annual match contested between the Champion of Greek Volleyleague and the Cup’s Winner. The matches take place in different cities every year. The competition isn't held if one team has achieved the double in the previous season. Iraklis Thessaloniki have won the super cup four times, followed by Olympiacos who have won two trophies less. Aris Thessaloniki, Panathinaikos and Foinikas Syros have won the trophy one-time each.

The first edition of the tournament, was organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.), in 1986. It was contested by the Greek Basket League champions and the Greek Basketball Cup winners. However, the Greek Basketball Super Cup was revived in 2020, by the Hellenic Basketball Association (HEBA), under a final four tournament format.
Panathinaikos AC women's football is a Greek team, part of the major Athens-based multi-sport club Panathinaikos A.O. It was first founded in 1980 and operated until 1982. In its short presence, it produced the athletes who starred in the following years, who were decisive factors for the development of women's football in Greece. On June 30, 2021, the reactivation of the department was officially announced.
