Paranerita patara is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It was described by Herbert Druce in 1896. It is found in Guyana and Brazil. [1]
Patara, later renamed Arsinoe (Ἀρσινόη), was a flourishing maritime and commercial city on the south-west coast of Lycia on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey near the modern small town of Gelemiş, in Antalya Province.
