Parapercis dongshaensis is a species of ray-finned fish in the sandperch family, Pinguipedidae. It is found in the South China Sea near Dongsha Island. [1]

Pratas Island, also known as the Tungsha Islands or the Dongsha Islands, is a coral island situated in the northern part of the South China Sea administered as part of Cijin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Yongxing/Woody Island is occupied and administered by China (PRC) as the seat of Sansha city of Hainan Province. The airport was expanded in 1990 to increase the combat range of Chinese warplanes. It is a submerged coral reef, classified as a submerged shoal. The shallowest point has a depth of 58 meters.
