Parbhu Govan Nana (born 17 August 1933, date of death unknown) was an East African cricketer. He is a Zambian of Indian origin. [1] He played three One day Internationals in the 1975 World Cup. [2] In June 2019, it was reported that he had died "some years ago". [3]

Rahmat Shah Zurmatai is an Afghan cricketer who bats right-handed and bowls part-time leg-breaks and googly. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match, against India, in June 2018. In April 2019, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) named Shah as the team's new Test captain, replacing Asghar Afghan. However, following the 2019 Cricket World Cup, Rashid Khan was named as the new captain of the Afghanistan cricket team across all three formats. Therefore, Rahmat was replaced before captaining the team in a Test match. In September 2019, in the one-off Test between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, Rahmat became the first batsman for Afghanistan to score a century in Test cricket.

The 2019 Cricket World Cup in England and Wales took place during this time, starting on 30 May 2019. 10 Test matches, 78 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 109 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), as well as 1 Women's Test, 9 Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and 130 Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), were played during this period. The season started with India leading the Test cricket rankings, England leading the ODI rankings and Pakistan leading the Twenty20 rankings. On 3 May, the International Cricket Council (ICC) expanded the men's T20I rankings to include all current Full Member and Associate members of the ICC, featuring 80 teams. This is a list of the squads picked for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. All 10 teams were required to submit a 15-member squad by 23 April, with changes to the squad allowed to be made up to 22 May. New Zealand were the first team to name their squad, naming their team on 3 April 2019. The West Indies were the last team to name their squad, announcing their team on 24 April 2019, one day after the initial deadline set by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
