Raveena Tandon is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi films. She is a recipient of several awards, including a National Film Award, two Filmfare Awards and a Filmfare OTT Award. In 2023, she was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian honour.
Raja Hindustani is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Dharmesh Darshan. It tells the story of a cab driver from a small town who falls in love with a rich young woman. Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor play the lead roles. Released on 15 November 1996, the film's plot was inspired from the 1965 film Jab Jab Phool Khile, starring Shashi Kapoor and Nanda. The film's music was composed by Nadeem-Shravan, with lyrics by Sameer. It went on to win five Filmfare Awards, including the awards for Best Film, Best Actors, Best Music and seven Screen Awards.

Dhadkan (transl. Heartbeat) is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama directed by Dharmesh Darshan and produced by Ratan Jain. It stars Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Suniel Shetty and Mahima Chaudhry in lead roles. Being inspired by the novel Wuthering Heights, it also features Sharmila Tagore, Parmeet Sethi, Kiran Kumar, Sushma Seth and Manjeet Kullar in supporting roles. The story follows, Anjali and Dev are in love with each other and plan to marry, but her family gets her married to Ram. Years later, Dev shows up to reunite with Anjali, however, she has fallen in love with Ram. The music was composed by Nadeem–Shravan.
Salaam-e-Ishq also known as Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love, is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Nikkhil Advani, marking his second directorial venture after Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003). An unofficial remake of Hollywood film Love Actually (2003), the film features an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Salman Khan, Juhi Chawla, Akshaye Khanna, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Sohail Khan, Isha Koppikar, Ayesha Takia and Shannon Esra. It weaves six love stories together and follows the relationships of the people within it.
Mohra (transl. Pawn) is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film co-written, edited and directed by Rajiv Rai and produced by his father Gulshan Rai. It stars Naseeruddin Shah, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Raza Murad, Gulshan Grover, Paresh Rawal, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The film was also the first collaboration between the trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal, who went on to collaborate several times later on.

The film was inspired from the 1992 Tamil film Rasukutty.

Sandwich : Double Trouble is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language comedy film starring Govinda in a dual role opposite Raveena Tandon and Mahima Chaudhry. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee. This film was completed in 2003 but was delayed for three years and finally released in 2006. The movie was remade in Kannada as Double Decker in 2011 starring Jaggesh. Earlier the title of movie was "Hum Do Hamara Ek". Due to delay in releasing the movie title was changed to "Sandwich", it received mixed reviews, who appreciated performance of Govinda, but it got criticised for writing, screenplay, cliched story and VFX, this film was a box office failure.

Its story is a partial adaptation of the Hollywood film Screwed; some scenes were taken from Vettam, Priyadarshan's Malayalam film. The film has an ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal and Sameera Reddy. Filming began on 1 December 2008 at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. Released on 27 November 2009, it was moderately successful at the box office.

Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj are jointly producing the film on their respective banners, 24 Frames Factory and Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. Kona Venkat, Gopimohan and BVS Ravi wrote the film's screenplay with Palani Kumar handling cinematography.
Shilpa Shetty is an Indian actress who is primarily known for her work in Hindi films, in addition to a few Telugu, Kannada and Tamil films. Shetty made her acting debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 1993 thriller Baazigar. Shetty's performance earned her two Filmfare Awards nominations for Lux New Face of the Year and Best Supporting Actress.
