Parinaquta (Aymara parina flamingo, quta lake [2] "flamingo lake", Hispanicized spelling Parinajota) is a lake in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Macusani District, north-east of Macusani. Parinaquta lies south of the lake Sayt'uquta (Aymara for "prolonged, lengthened or tapering lake", Hispanicized Saytojota) at the road between Ayapata and Macusani. [3]

Carabaya Province is a province of the Puno Region located in the southern part of Peru. It is bounded on the north by the Madre de Dios Region, on the east by the Sandia Province, on the south by the provinces of Azángaro, Melgar and Putina and on the west by the Cusco Region. The capital of the province is the city of Macusani.

Macusani District is one of ten districts of the Carabaya Province in Peru. Its seat is Macusani.

Parinacota is a lake on the border of Bolivia and Peru at a height of about 4,216 metres (13,832 ft). On the Bolivian side it is located in the La Paz Department, José Manuel Pando Province, Qataqura Municipality, T'ula Qullu Canton, on the Peruvian side in the Puno Region, El Collao Province, Capazo District. It is connected with the Parinacota River which lies on the border south of the lake. Parinacota is about 1.3 km long and 0.5 km at its widest point.

Parinaquta is a lake in Peru located in the Puno Region, Chucuito Province, Kelluyo District. It is situated at a height of about 3,772 metres (12,375 ft). Parinaquta lies northeast of the lake Quraquta, near the Bolivian border.

Tocsajota is a lake in the Andes of Peru at a mountain of the same name. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Macusani District. Tocsajota lies southeast of the larger lake named Saytajota and southwest of the mountain Tocsajota.

It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, in the southwest of the Ituata District, near the border with the Macusani District. Catautira is a mountain in the Vilcanota mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is situated in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Macusani District. Catautira lies northeast of Sumpiruni. This is where the Ninahuisa River originates. It flows along the southern slopes of Catautira before it turns to the northeast.

Queroni is 5,259-metre-high (17,254 ft) mountain in the Carabaya mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, on the border of the districts of Ajoyani, Ituata and Macusani.

Taypi Kunka is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 4,800-metre (15,700 ft) high. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Crucero District. Taypi Kunka lies at a lake named Wiluyuq Qucha, northwest of Apachita and northeast of Pinkilluni Urqu.

Morojota is a mountain at a small lake of the same name in the northern extensions of the Carabaya mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 4,800 m (15,700 ft) high. The mountain and the lake located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Ayapata District, northeast of Allincapac.

Chuqi Quta is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is located in the Puno Region, El Collao Province, Santa Rosa District. It lies southwest of Jisk'a Mawruma.
