The 1992 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XVI Olympic Winter Games, were a winter multi-sport event held in Albertville, France, from February 8 to 23. A total of 1,801 athletes representing 64 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) participated in 57 events from 12 different sports and disciplines. In a break from tradition, the medals were primarily made of crystal rather than metal: gold, silver, or bronze was used only on the border.

He holds the most overall titles at the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships, and is the only male short track skater to win five consecutive world titles.
Mongolia sent a delegation to compete at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway from 12–27 February 1994. The Mongolian delegation consisted of a single short track speed skater Batchuluuny Bat-Orgil. He competed in two events, where he finished the 500 metres event in 24th place and the 1000 metres competition in 29th position.

George Edward Bellows Hill was an American figure skater who competed in single skating and pair skating. As a pair skater, he was the 1933, 1935, 1936, and 1937 U.S. national champion with partner Maribel Vinson. As a single skater, he was the 1930, 1931, 1934, and 1936 U.S. bronze medalist.
Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Kauffman is an American pair skater. With sister Cynthia Kauffman, he is a four-time (1966–1969) U.S. national champion and a three-time (1966–1968) World bronze medalist. They represented the United States at the 1964 Winter Olympics and the 1968 Winter Olympics, placing 8th in 1964 and 6th in 1968.
Judi Ann Genovesi is an American ice dancer. With partner Kent Weigle, she is the 1977 U.S. national champion. They represented the United States at the 1976 Winter Olympics where they placed 15th.
