Patchogue-Medford High School (colloquially Pat-Med or Buffalo Avenue High School) is a public high school in Medford, Brookhaven, New York, which is located in Suffolk County on Long Island, in the United States. The school is part of Patchogue-Medford School District. The campus was renamed "Navy (SEAL) LT Michael P. Murphy Campus" after the US NAVY SEAL, Michael P. Murphy. [4]

Michael Patrick Murphy was a United States Navy SEAL officer who was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. He was the first member of the United States Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War. His other posthumous awards include the Silver Star Medal and the Purple Heart.
