Paul Arden Lidberg is a game designer of board games and role-playing games.
Paul Lidberg worked for both Crunchy Frog Enterprises and Nightshift Games, and also spent approximately six months working at the Waterloo game store in Phoenix, Arizona that was founded by Scott Bizar of Fantasy Games Unlimited. [1] : 76 Lidberg and Douglas Niles designed the board game A Line in the Sand (1991) about the Gulf War. [1] : 23
Lidberg inquired with FASA about the Battletech license, but Sam Lewis instead convinced Lidberg to license Renegade Legion from FASA; Lidberg found that retailers and distributors would not support Renegade Legion because FASA was not promoting it directly, so the rights to the game reverted back to FASA in 1996 when Crunchy Frog Enterprises did not promote the game heavily enough. On October 12, 2012 Lidberg attempted to use the crowdfunding site Kickstarter to fund a new game called The SuperFogeys . [2] On November 28, 2012 the campaign was successfully funded and he received the funding he requested in the campaign. After his successful funding for The SuperFogeys he started a second Kickstarter campaign on January 6, 2013 for a different game called Zombie Stomp The Game . [3] On January 20, 2013 this campaign was also successfully funded and he received the funding he requested in the campaign. [4]
FASA Corporation was an American publisher of role-playing games, wargames and board games between 1980 and 2001, after which they closed publishing operations for several years, becoming an IP holding company under the name FASA Inc. In 2012, a wholly owned subsidiary called FASA Games Inc. went into operation, using the name and logo under license from the parent company. FASA Games Inc. works alongside Ral Partha Europe, also a subsidiary of FASA Corporation, to bring out new editions of existing properties such as Earthdawn and Demonworld, and to develop new properties within the FASA cosmology.

Charrette produced gaming products for Fantasy Games Unlimited, Grenadier Models Inc., Ral Partha Enterprises, FASA and currently operates Parroom Enterprises, LLC, a boutique miniatures game company.

Prior to founding Harebrained Schemes, Weisman and Gitelman worked together on the MechCommander and Crimson Skies franchises at FASA, another company founded by Weisman. As of mid-2015, the studio had under 60 employees. The studio was acquired by Paradox Interactive in June 2018. Harebrained Schemes and Paradox Interactive parted ways on January 1, 2024.
Jason Kapalka is a Canadian game developer and entrepreneur based in the Comox Valley and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is best known as one of the founders, along with John Vechey and Brian Fiete, of the video game studio PopCap Games, which was founded in 2000 and sold to Electronic Arts in 2011; PopCap was originally titled “Sexy Action Cool,” but the name was changed when it was found to be misleading to many players.
