Pavilion in the Park is a mixed-use enclosed mall with upscale shopping located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Tenants include B. Barnett, a local luxury women's boutique; Baumans Fine Men's Clothing, a local upscale men's store; [1] and Trio's Restaurant, a local eatery offering Southern comfort cuisine. [2]
Pavilion in the Park was built in 1985 by Arkansan cardiologist C.D. Williams and David Jones at the cost of $7.8 million as an upscale shopping center. [3] The structure was designed by Little Rock-based Polk Stanley Yeary Architects [4] and constructed by Little Rock-based Kinco Constructors. [5] The center found itself with just 64 percent occupancy in 1988 and dropped to 54 percent occupancy in 1989 after losing major national tenants, including Laura Ashley and Bombay Company, to the newly renovated Park Plaza Mall. Pavilion in the Park had a pretentious reputation that kept some customers away, according to the manager of the center in 1991, saying, "when I moved here, people told me I couldn't shop here, and they didn't even know what I made. It had that reputation." A foreclosure suit was filed in 1989 and was battled for nearly two years until it was dismissed in 1990. In the early 1990s, Pavilion in the Park started accepting business offices as tenants and signed new retail tenants, such as a luxury men's store and a furrier. Non-retail tenants added at Pavilion in the Park include Prince Plastic Surgery [6] and Legacy Spine and Neurological Specialists. [7] By 1991, Pavilion in the Park had 75 percent occupancy, [3] and in 2022, the center was noted to be 100 percent occupied. [1]
In the late 1980s, B. Barnett, a local luxury women's boutique founded in 1973, [8] opened at Pavilion in the Park. [3] Baumans Fine Men's Clothing, a local upscale men's store established in 1919, opened its second location at Pavilion in the Park in 1993. [9] In the 1990s, Baumans closed its other location, located on Main Street, and expanded its footprint at Pavilion in the Park. [10] Both Baumans and B. Barnett are still currently located at the Pavilion in the Park. [1]
In 2022, Little Rock-based Flake and Company, who was involved in Pavilion in the Park in the 1980s, purchased the mall for $8.85 million. The new owners stated intent to revitalize the center's glass atrium and use it to host community events. [1]
On March 31, 2023, Pavilion in the Park sustained major damage from a high end EF3 tornado. [11]

Downtown Commons, formerly known as Sacramento Downtown Plaza, Westfield (Shoppingtown) Downtown Plaza and Downtown Plaza, is a two-level outdoor mixed-use entertainment and shopping complex operated by JMA Ventures, LLC, located along the alignment of K Street in downtown Sacramento, California, United States, near the State Capitol building. The complex is bordered by J Street to the north, L Street to the south, 7th Street to the east and 4th Street to the west. Downtown Commons' previous format was a mainly two-level outdoor shopping mall commonly known as Downtown Plaza, despite numerous official name changes over the years. The majority of the site has been redeveloped, centering on the Golden 1 Center, home of the NBA's Sacramento Kings. The section between 5th and 7th Streets was demolished in 2014 to make room for the Golden 1 Center, as well as The Sawyer, a 250-room boutique hotel operated by Kimpton Hotels immediately north of the arena site. The remaining standing section between 4th and 5th Streets was also redeveloped a few years later in association with the arena project.

Seaview Square Mall was a shopping mall located in Ocean Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It has been repurposed as a power center and was renamed Seaview Square Shopping Center in 2012. The 856,000-square-foot (79,500 m2) mall, located at the intersection of Route 35 and Route 66, was originally constructed in 1977 as an indoor mall. It faced stiff competition from the more upscale Monmouth Mall, located five miles (8 km) further north on Route 35 in Eatontown. TC Curling Center opened in January 2023. Although it is often referred to as a "dead mall", the Cherryland Center, as of January 2023, had an occupancy rate over 90 percent. K1 Speed is set to open in the former Sears space by June 2023, with the hopes of Sky Zone opening in the remainder of the Sears space at a later time.
Wayzata Bay Center was an enclosed shopping mall in Wayzata, Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities. Wayzata Bay Center once comprised 127,000 square feet (12,000 m2) of retail space, with approximately 30 stores on one level, but closed in 2011 after the city of Wayzata agreed upon constructing a new facility on the same land. The mall was once owned by Madison Marquette until residents of the city purchased the mall for $16 million in December 2004.
The Promenade at Chenal is an upscale, open-air lifestyle center located in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the corner of Chenal Parkway and Rahling Road in Chenal Valley. The Promenade displays French Gothic architecture and was designed to replicate a nostalgic Main Street shopping district.
