Dead Horse was a thrash metal band from Houston, Texas, which was active in the 1980s and 1990s and again during the 2010s. They have also been described as death metal and crossover thrash. Dead Horse also incorporated elements of country music and Texas culture that can be heard on songs such as "Hank" from Horsecore and "Chiggers" from Feed Me.

It is a concept album about Cooper’s stay in a New York asylum due to his alcoholism. Each of the characters in the songs were based on actual people Cooper met in the asylum. Among other collaborators, the album features three longtime Elton John associates: lyricist Bernie Taupin, guitarist Davey Johnstone and bassist Dee Murray.
Death Before Dishonour is the fifth studio album by the Scottish punk rock band The Exploited. It was released on 15 April 1987 through Rough Justice Records. With this release, The Exploited moved to a more crossover thrash direction. This album was re-released on 19 June 2001 on Spitfire Records and contained an additional seven tracks. A music video of the band playing live with a woman was released for the song "Sexual Favours". "Sexual Favours", a single from the album Death Before Dishonour, was released in 1987. The album ranked in the top 200 of the Britain Alternative Music list.
I Didn't See It Coming was the only album by punk rock band the Professionals to be released in the band's lifetime. It was first released by Virgin Records on November 1981. On June 14, 2001, Virgin/EMI released a CD edition of the album, appending six tracks previously released as singles and two songs recorded for the mooted The Professionals album.
Breach is the third studio album by The Wallflowers. The album's first single was "Sleepwalker", the video of which poked fun at lead-singer Jakob Dylan's "rock star" status following the success of Bringing Down the Horse. Guests on the album included Elvis Costello, who performed vocals on "Murder 101". Despite good reviews, the album failed to follow the commercial success of Bringing Down the Horse and was seen as somewhat of a commercial failure. "Breach" peaked at number 13 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold.
Giant for a Day! is the tenth album by British progressive rock band Gentle Giant which was released in 1978. The band's previous use of counterpoint and medieval-themed arrangements was not present on this recording. This album features a pop rock sensibility, instead of their usual progressive rock sound. Unlike the previous albums, the band did not make any tour or concerts to support this album. From the album only the title track was ever played live by the band during its final tour supporting the Civilian album.
