The Pearl Jam Twenty Tour (also known as the PJ20 Tour) was a concert tour by the American rock band Pearl Jam to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary. [1] The tour consisted of a two-day festival at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin on the Labor Day weekend, [2] and was followed by ten shows in Canada, [3] ending with a show at the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver. [4] The festival dates had support from Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, Liam Finn, John Doe [5] and The Strokes. [6] Due to high ticket demand for pre-sale tickets, the website had to be taken offline. [7]
On July 11, the band announced an additional nine dates in Latin America, scheduled for November. [8] This was the second time that the band had toured Latin America, after their 2005 tour and included a show in San José, Costa Rica. [9] On August 19, a second date was added in São Paulo. [10] American punk band X were announced as the opening band for the Latin American shows. [11] [12] [13]
The opening show at Alpine Valley featured songs by Mother Love Bone and Temple of the Dog with Chris Cornell on vocals. [14] This was then repeated for the second show. [15] During the first show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, the band were joined onstage by Neil Young during their performance of "Rockin' in the Free World". [16] [17] The show was later released exclusively as a free digital download through Google Music on November 10 in celebration of the upcoming, official launch of that site on November 16. [18]
Temple of the Dog was an American rock supergroup that formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990. It was conceived by vocalist Chris Cornell of Soundgarden as a tribute to his friend, the late Andrew Wood, lead singer of the bands Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. The lineup included Stone Gossard on rhythm guitar, Jeff Ament on bass guitar, Mike McCready on lead guitar, and Matt Cameron on drums. Eddie Vedder appeared as a guest to provide some lead and backing vocals and later became lead vocalist of Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam's debut album, Ten, was released four months after Temple of the Dog's only studio album.

The official bootlegs are a complete record of almost every show the band plays, excluding club "warm-up" dates.

11/30/93 – Las Vegas, Nevada is a live album and the first in a series of archival official bootleg releases by the American alternative rock band Pearl Jam, made available in MP3 format at the band's official download website in 2006. The bootleg was recorded at the first of two nights at the Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts in Paradise, Nevada.

The tour consisted of nine shows in Latin America, including venues in Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Argentina. This was the first tour following the Lightning Bolt Tour that finished in 2014 and the first shows in Latin American since the band released their 2013 album Lightning Bolt. The tour started on November 4 in Santiago, Chile, and finished on November 28 in Mexico City. On August 6, it was announced that the show in Colombia will be moved from Estadio El Campín to Simón Bolívar Park.
