Peggy Garabekian (born on 27 December 1994) is an American model, beauty titleholder, and active advocate for human rights who was crowned Miss Universe Armenia 2025 and represented Armenia at Miss Universe 2025. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

Early life

Garabekian was born on 27 December 1994 in Iran to Armenian parents and grew up in India. After living there for four years, her family relocated to the United States. ^[4]

Pageantry

Before Miss Universe

In 2015, Garabekian participated in the Miss Asia USA competition held in the United States. She placed third and was awarded the title of Miss Congeniality and People's Choice awards. ^{[5] [6]} She later held the title of Miss Armenia for the Miss United Nations 2023 pageant. ^[7]

In 2024, Garabekian was crowned Miss Pacific Coast USA, and subsequently competed at Miss California USA 2024.^{[ citation needed ]}

She was also appointed as an ambassador for Miss World America 2023, ^[8] during which she received the honorary titles of Miss Sunshine 2023 and Miss Hollywood 2024.^{[ citation needed ]}

In 2025, she won the title of Miss Vizcaya Swimwear, becoming the first winner from the West Coast, including California, to earn the title.^{[ citation needed ]}

Miss Universe

Garabekian was crowned Miss Universe Armenia 2025 and represented her country at the Miss Universe pageant, which was held at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand on 21 November. ^{[9] [10]}
