Manika Vishwakarma is an Indian model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Universe India 2025 on 18 August 2025 in Jaipur. She is set to represent India at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant, scheduled to take place on 21 November 2025 in Thailand. [1] [2] [3]
Manika is a student and a public figure, originally from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, and currently based in Delhi. She is in the final year of her undergraduate studies, pursuing a degree in Political Science and Economics. [4]
She is a graduate of the National Cadet Corps (India), a trained classical dancer, and a visual artist. Her artistic work has been recognised by institutions such as the Lalit Kala Akademi and the Sir J. J. School of Art. Manika is also the founder of Neuronova, an initiative focused on redefining societal perceptions of neurodivergence and promoting awareness of conditions like ADHD as potential strength. [5] [6]
In 2024, Manika was crowned Miss Universe Rajasthan and went on to represent her state at the Miss Universe India 2024 pageant, held on 22 September in Jaipur. [7] She placed among the Top 20 semifinalists and was also ranked in the Top 5 for the "Best in Speech" subtitle award. As Miss Universe Rajasthan, she represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon, organised under the aegis of the Ministry of External Affairs. [8]
On 20 June 2024, Manika was announced as a national finalist for the Miss Universe India 2025 pageant as a wildcard entrant during the final audition event held in Delhi. [9] She was crowned Miss Universe India 2025 on 18 August 2025 by her predecessor, Rhea Singha. During the competition, she received the subtitle awards for Best in Personal Interview and Miss Beautiful Smile, and was also ranked among the Top 5 in the Best in Speech category. [10]
