Early life and career
Sanly Hendrawati, often called Sanly Liu, won the title of Miss Universe Indonesia 2025. This Bali-based entrepreneur was also a fan-favorite finalist. This Jakarta-born woman has had a difficult life. Her current success stems from the foundation she has built over decades through education, skills, and discipline. Since the age of 15, Sanly Liu has worked as a flyer distributor for a salary of Rp 100,000. This demonstrates that from a young age, she possessed the determination and tenacity to become what she is today. She is also a published author.
At the age of 27, Sanly Liu decided to live and settle on the island of Bali. This is where her career path to becoming Miss Universe Indonesia 2025 began. Initially, Sanly Liu worked as a content creator on several social media platforms, producing content about fashion and beauty. She also frequently shared her knowledge of makeup, travel, and lifestyle. She gained this knowledge from her experience winning a makeup competition and earning a trip to Paris. She has been working as a content creator for over 10 years and has collaborated with international brands. After successfully establishing herself as a beauty and fashion expert, she founded a fashion business. Spring Summer Style is Sanly Liu's first business, selling fashion with a modern bohemian style. Furthermore, she is also the owner of Salvus Villa, one of Bali's exclusive accommodation as well as a beauty business, namely a salon called The Pause Bali. [4]
