Lancaster County, sometimes nicknamed the Garden Spot of America or Pennsylvania Dutch Country, is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is located in the south central part of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 552,984. Its county seat is Lancaster. Lancaster County comprises the Lancaster, Pennsylvania metropolitan statistical area.
Lititz is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States, 9 miles (14 km) north of the city of Lancaster. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 9,370.
Manheim Township is a township in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in 1729. The township's southernmost border meets the city limits of Lancaster. Its population, as of the 2020 census, was 44,012.
Rothsville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,044 at the 2010 census. Lititz is the town for residents' mailing addresses.
Warwick Township is a township in north-central Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 19,068 at the 2020 census. It completely surrounds the borough of Lititz and contains the unincorporated villages of Brunnerville, Disston, Kissel Hill, Lexington, Millway, and Rothsville.
Pennsylvania Route 501 is a north–south state highway in south central Pennsylvania that runs for 38.7 miles (62.3 km). Its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 222 and PA 272 north of Lancaster, and its northern terminus is PA 895 southeast of Pine Grove. The route heads north from Lancaster and runs through suburban and rural areas in northern Lancaster County, passing through Lititz and crossing US 322 in Brickerville. PA 501 continues into Lebanon County and heads into the Lebanon Valley, where it passes through Schaefferstown and intersects US 422 in Myerstown. The route passes through western Berks County, where it has an interchange with Interstate 78 (I-78)/US 22 near the community of Bethel. PA 501 crosses Blue Mountain into Schuylkill County and continues to its northern terminus.
Pennsylvania Route 772 is an east–west 38.5-mile-long (62.0 km) state highway located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The western terminus of PA 772 is at PA 441 in Marietta, and its eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 30 just west of Gap. The route is mostly a two-lane road that passes through rural areas of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country to the north of the city of Lancaster. The highway goes through the boroughs of Mount Joy, Manheim, and Lititz, along with the villages of Rothsville, Leola, and Intercourse.
