Pennsylvania Route 29 is a 118-mile-long (190 km) north–south state highway that runs through most of eastern Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania Route 38 is a 40.2-mile-long (64.7 km) state highway located in northwest Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at U.S. Route 422 and PA 68 northeast of downtown Butler. The northern terminus is at US 322 in Rockland Township.
Pennsylvania Route 35 is a 70.8-mile-long (113.9 km) state highway located in central Pennsylvania. The southern terminus of the route is at U.S. Route 522 (US 522) near Shade Gap. The northern terminus is at US 11/US 15 in Selinsgrove.
Pennsylvania Route 68 is a 90.036-mile-long (144.899 km) east–west state highway located in western Pennsylvania in the United States. The western terminus of the route is at the Ohio state line west of Glasgow, where PA 68 continues into Ohio as State Route 39. The eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 322 in Clarion. The route runs southwest-northeast across Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, and Clarion counties. PA 68 follows the Ohio River between the Ohio border and Beaver, where it crosses the Beaver River into Rochester and heads northeast away from the Ohio River. The route runs through rural areas to Butler County, where it intersects Interstate 79 (I-79) in Zelienople before serving Evans City and Butler. PA 68 passes through a section of Armstrong County before crossing the Allegheny River into Clarion County. Here, the route passes through Rimersburg and Sligo before it has an interchange with I-80 and continues to its terminus in Clarion.
Pennsylvania Route 75 is a 71.2-mile-long (114.6 km) north–south state highway located in central Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at the Mason–Dixon line in Montgomery Township, where the road continues into Maryland as Maryland Route 494. The northern terminus is at an interchange with U.S. Route 22 and US 322 northeast of Port Royal. PA 75 is a two-lane undivided road that passes through the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians in Franklin and Juniata counties. The route heads north from the Maryland border in Franklin County to Mercersburg, where it runs concurrent with PA 16 and PA 416. From Mercersburg, PA 75 heads north and crosses US 30 in Fort Loudon before it runs northeast through a long valley, where it has an interchange with the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Willow Hill. The route turns north and heads into Juniata County, where it continues through another valley. PA 75 passes through Port Royal and crosses the Juniata River before it comes to its terminus at US 22/US 322.
Pennsylvania Route 87 is a 69.3-mile-long (111.5 km) north–south state highway located in northern Pennsylvania. The southern terminus of the route is at exit 21 of Interstate 180 (I-180)/U.S. Route 220 in Montoursville. The northern terminus is at US 6 in Washington Township.
Pennsylvania Route 92 is a 66-mile-long (106 km) north–south state highway located in northeast Pennsylvania. The southern terminus of the route is at U.S. Route 11 in West Pittston. The northern terminus is at the New York-Pennsylvania border in Oakland Township, where PA 92 continues northward as New York State Route 79 (NY 79).
Pennsylvania Route 588 is an east–west state highway in the Western Pennsylvania counties of Beaver and Butler. It travels sixteen miles between PA 51 in Chippewa Township, Beaver County and PA 288 in Zelienople. Other communities through which it passes include the city of Beaver Falls and the borough of Eastvale.
Pennsylvania Route 108 is a highway in Western Pennsylvania that runs for 32 miles (51 km) from the Ohio state line near SNPJ to PA 8 in Adams Corner. PA 108 intersects Interstate 376 (I-376) near New Castle and U.S. Route 19 (US 19) near Harlansburg. PA 108 also has an interchange with Interstate 79 (I-79) at exit 105.
Pennsylvania Route 288 or State Route 288 is an east–west route in western Pennsylvania, United States. The highway is 15.4 miles (24 km) long and runs from PA 18 in Wampum east to the US 19/PA 68 concurrency in Zelienople.
Pennsylvania Route 487 is a 64.2-mile-long (103.3 km), north–south state highway running from PA 61 in Shamokin Township, Northumberland County, to PA 87 in Dushore, Sullivan County. In Bloomsburg, PA 487 and US 11 share a brief wrong-way concurrency. After its brief concurrency with PA 118, PA 487 goes up a steep grade through Ricketts Glen State Park. PA 487 is used to carry traffic up the Fishing Creek valley.
Pennsylvania Route 403 is a north–south state route in Somerset, Cambria and Indiana counties of Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at U.S. Route 30 (US 30) in the hamlet of Kantner in Quemahoning Township. The northern terminus is at US 119 near Marion Center.
Pennsylvania Route 234 is a 38-mile-long (61 km) state highway located in Adams and York Counties in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at U.S. Route 30 in Franklin Township. The eastern terminus is at PA 462 in West York. PA 234 heads east from US 30 as a two-lane undivided road through rural areas in northern Adams County, passing through Arendtsville before it reaches Biglerville, where it intersects PA 394 and PA 34. The route continues east and has an interchange with the US 15 freeway in Heidlersburg and crosses PA 94 prior to reaching East Berlin, where it intersects PA 194. PA 234 crosses into York County and heads through rural areas in the western part of the county. Right before its eastern terminus at PA 462, PA 234 crosses US 30 on an overpass; however, there is no direct access to the highway. PA 234 was designated in 1928 between US 30 in Franklin Township and PA 194 in East Berlin. The route was extended east from East Berlin to US 30 west of West York in 1937. The entire route was paved in the 1930s.
Pennsylvania Route 254 is a 30-mile-long (48 km) state highway located in Northumberland, Montour, and Columbia counties in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at PA 405 in Milton. The eastern terminus is at PA 487 near Benton.
Pennsylvania Route 308 is a 28.5-mile-long (45.9 km) state highway located in Butler and Venango Counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 8 near Butler. The northern terminus is at State Route 3013 north of an interchange with the PA 8 expressway in Pearl.
Pennsylvania Route 356 is a 32.5-mile-long (52.3 km) state highway located in Westmoreland, Allegheny, Butler, and Armstrong counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 66 near Oklahoma. The northern terminus is at U.S. Route 422 (US 422) near Butler.
Pennsylvania Route 414 is a 79.4-mile-long (127.8 km) state highway located in Lycoming, Tioga, and Bradford Counties in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at PA 44 in Waterville. The eastern terminus is at US 220 in Monroe. The first leg of the highway, between its intersection with PA 44 in Waterville and Blackwell is very narrow and rugged.
Pennsylvania Route 488 is a 17-mile-long (27 km) state highway located in Lawrence and Butler Counties in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at PA 65/PA 288 in Ellwood City. The eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 422 in Moraine State Park.
Pennsylvania Route 696 is a 16.0-mile-long (25.7 km) state highway located in Franklin and Cumberland Counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 997 in Greene Township. The northern terminus is at PA 997 in Hopewell Township. PA 696 begins at PA 997 adjacent to an interchange with Interstate 81 (I-81) and heads northeast through farmland parallel to the interstate. The route turns north and has an interchange with I-81 before it continues into Shippensburg, where it has a brief concurrency with U.S. Route 11 and PA 533 in the downtown area. Past Shippensburg, PA 696 runs north through more farmland and heads to Newburg, where it has a short concurrency with PA 641. The route heads northwest from here to its terminus at PA 997.
Pennsylvania Route 997 is a 49.0-mile (78.9 km) route in Franklin and Cumberland counties in central Pennsylvania. The route runs from the Maryland state line south of Waynesboro, where the road continues into that state as Maryland Route 64, north to PA 233 in the Upper Mifflin Township community of McCrea. PA 997 heads north from the state line through agricultural areas in the Cumberland Valley and passes through Waynesboro, where it intersects PA 16, and Mont Alto, where it intersects the south end of PA 233, before coming to U.S. Route 30 in Greenwood. From here, the route turns northwest and comes to a junction with Interstate 81 (I-81) and PA 696 near Scotland and US 11 in Green Village. PA 997 crosses PA 433 in Culbertson and heads north along the eastern border of Letterkenny Army Depot to Pleasant Hall, where it crosses PA 533. The route continues north through rural areas and intersects PA 433 near Lurgan and PA 641 in Roxbury before heading northeast and reaching an interchange with the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) near Blue Mountain. PA 997 leaves Franklin County for Cumberland County and intersects the north end of PA 696 before continuing to McCrea.
