Pennsylvania Route 179 and Route 179 is an 8.7-mile (14.00 km) state highway in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States, running along an old alignment of U.S. Route 202 from west of New Hope, Pennsylvania, northeast through Lambertville, New Jersey, to Ringoes, where it ends at an intersection with US 202 and Route 31. Past this intersection, the road continues east as County Route 514. It is two-lane, undivided highway for most of its length with the exception of a four-lane stretch in Lambertville. The route crosses the Delaware River on the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, where the designation changes from PA 179 to Route 179.
Interstate 495 (I-495) is an 11.47-mile-long (18.46 km) auxiliary Interstate Highway in the US state of Delaware. The highway, named the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway, serves as a six-lane bypass of I-95 around the city of Wilmington. I-495 begins at an interchange with I-95 and I-295 near Newport to the southwest of Wilmington. From here, the road heads east to the Port of Wilmington, where it turns northeast and crosses the Christina River as it heads to the east of downtown Wilmington. Upon reaching Edgemoor, I-495 runs between the Delaware River to the east and U.S. Route 13 (US 13) to the west, continuing to Claymont. In Claymont, I-495 turns north and merges into northbound I-95 at an interchange with Delaware Route 92 (DE 92) just south of the Pennsylvania state line.
Pennsylvania Route 100 is a 59.4-mile (95.6 km) long state highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania that runs from U.S. Route 202 near West Chester north to PA 309 in Pleasant Corners. The route runs between the western suburbs of Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley region of the state, serving Chester, Montgomery, Berks, and Lehigh counties. PA 100 intersects several important highways, including US 30 in Exton, the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) near Lionville, US 422 near Pottstown, US 222 in Trexlertown, and I-78/US 22 in Fogelsville. Several sections of PA 100 are multi-lane divided highway with some interchanges, including between US 202 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Chester County between south of Pottstown and New Berlinville, and between Trexlertown and Fogelsville.
Pennsylvania Route 313 is a mostly 2-lane, 18-mile-long (29 km) state highway entirely within Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The western end of PA 313 is at an intersection with PA 309 and PA 663 in Quakertown. The eastern end is at an intersection with PA 263 in the Doylestown Township community of Furlong. PA 313 is signed an east–west road, although it runs almost purely northwest–southeast through most of its course. It is a major arterial road in central and northern Bucks County as it connects several communities including Quakertown, Dublin, and Doylestown.
Pennsylvania Route 715 (PA 715) is a 17.7-mile-long (28.5 km) north–south state route located entirely in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. Its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 209 (US 209) in the Chestnuthill Township hamlet of Brodheadsville. The northern terminus is at PA 191 in the Paradise Township hamlet of Henryville. PA 715 also intersects Interstate 80 (I-80) in Tannersville at Exit 299. The route is a two-lane undivided road running through forested areas of the Pocono Mountains. The road was paved between 1930 and the 1940s. PA 715 was designated to its present alignment in 1963.
Pennsylvania Route 926 is a 26.2-mile-long (42.2 km) state route located west of Philadelphia in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The western terminus of the route is at PA 10 in Upper Oxford Township. The eastern terminus is at PA 3 in the Philadelphia suburb of Willistown Township. The route is known as Street Road for its entire length. For 0.9 miles (1.4 km), PA 926 runs along the county line between Delaware and Chester counties. The route passes through a mix of suburban and rural areas along its extent. PA 926 is two lanes and undivided its entire length.
Pennsylvania Route 27 is a 65.7-mile-long (105.7 km) state highway that is located in northwest Pennsylvania in the United States.
Pennsylvania Route 401 is a 20.2-mile-long (32.5 km) east–west state route in Berks and Chester counties, located in southeast Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at PA 23 in Caernarvon Township, across the county line from Elverson. The eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 30 in East Whiteland Township, a short distance west of Malvern. PA 401 is called Conestoga Road its entire length and runs through rural areas with suburban development toward the eastern part of the route. PA 401 follows a former turnpike chartered in 1809 known as the Little Conestoga Turnpike. PA 401 was designated along Conestoga Road between PA 29 and US 30/PA 1 in 1928. The route was extended west to PA 23 in the 1930s, at which time the entire length was paved.
Pennsylvania Route 531 is a state highway located entirely in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Its northern terminus is located at U.S. Route 20 (US 20) in Harborcreek Township. Its southern terminus is at Pennsylvania Route 430, also in Harborcreek Township.
Pennsylvania Route 491 (PA 491) and Delaware Route 491 (DE 491) is a state highway starting in Delaware County, Pennsylvania and ending in New Castle County, Delaware. Also known as Naamans Creek Road, the route runs from U.S. Route 202 (US 202) in Concord Township east to the Delaware border in Lower Chichester Township. In the state of Delaware, the highway runs for 0.36 mi (0.58 km) as a connector between the Pennsylvania border and DE 92 near Claymont, Delaware. PA 491 runs closely parallel to the Delaware border throughout its route. It intersects PA 261 in the Booths Corner section of Bethel Township. The western portion of PA 491 was first designated as part of Legislative Route 135 in 1911. In the 1920s, the Delaware portion of road was built as a state highway while PA 491 was created in 1928.
Pennsylvania Route 341 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The route runs 10.7 miles (17.2 km) from PA 230 in Londonderry Township in Dauphin County east to PA 241 in South Londonderry Township in Lebanon County. The route is a two-lane undivided road known as Colebrook Road for its entire length, passing through rural areas. Along the way, PA 341 crosses PA 743 near Deodate and passes through Upper Lawn. An eastbound truck route, PA 341 Truck, bypasses the route between PA 230 and PA 743. PA 341 was first designated onto its current alignment by 1930, running between U.S. Route 230 and PA 241. The route was fully paved in the 1930s. Between the 1930s and 1940s, PA 341 headed southeast along Lawn Road to end at PA 241 in Lawn.
U.S. Route 322 Business is a business route of US 322 in the borough and surrounding townships of West Chester in Chester County, Pennsylvania. US 322 bypasses West Chester to the north and east on the West Chester Bypass while US 322 Bus. heads through the downtown area. The business route begins at US 322 northwest of the borough and heads southeast, entering West Chester on Hannum Avenue. US 322 Bus. heads east into downtown West Chester along the one-way pair of West Market and West Chestnut streets. In the center of the borough, the route heads south along South High Street, passing through the West Chester University of Pennsylvania campus as it leaves the borough. US 322 Bus. comes to its eastern terminus at an interchange with US 202/US 322 at the southern terminus of the bypass.
Pennsylvania Route 331 is a 14.5-mile-long (23.3 km), east–west state highway located in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at the West Virginia state line in Independence Township where the road continues as West Virginia Route 67. The eastern terminus is at PA 844 in Canton Township. PA 331 was initially established on May 27, 1935. The route was rerouted in the 2000s following the closure of a bridge over Buffalo Creek.
Pennsylvania Route 437 is an 11.2-mile-long (18.0 km) state highway located in Luzerne County in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 940 in White Haven. The northern terminus is at PA 309 in the Fairview Township community of Mountain Top. PA 437 runs southeast-northwest through forested mountain areas as a two-lane undivided road. The roadway was paved by 1930 and designated PA 437 in the 1960s.
Interstate 90 (I-90) within the US state of Pennsylvania spans 46.297 miles (74.508 km), all within Erie County, from the Ohio border near West Springfield to the New York border near North East. I-90 is the primary west–east highway in the Erie area, passing south of downtown and having interchanges with I-79, which connects Downtown Erie to southern Pennsylvania and beyond, and I-86, linking Erie to the Southern Tier of New York. U.S. Route 20 (US 20), which has an interchange with I-90 near the New York–Pennsylvania border, parallels I-90 across the county. Throughout its length, I-90 has also been designated as the AMVETS Memorial Highway, with signs posted at each state line.
Pennsylvania Route 848 (PA 848) is a 6.66-mile-long (10.72 km) state highway located in Susquehanna County in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at U.S. Route 11 (US 11) just south of PA 492 in New Milford. The eastern terminus is at PA 547 in Gibson Township. PA 848 remains as a former portion of PA 371, which was originally designated in 1936 from New Milford to the New York state line. The highway was designated as PA 848 in 1961, seven years after it was truncated from New Milford.
A total of at least three special routes of U.S. Route 9 (US 9) exist and at least seven have been decommissioned.
A total of at least five special routes of U.S. Route 322 currently exist.
U.S. Route 202 Business is a 10-mile (16 km) business route of US 202 in Montgomery and Bucks counties in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, running between Montgomeryville and Doylestown. The route heads northeast from US 202 in Upper Gwynedd Township along five-lane Dekalb Pike through residential and commercial areas. In Montgomeryville, the route turns north to run concurrent with Pennsylvania Route 309 on five-lane Bethlehem Pike past several businesses. US 202 Bus. splits from PA 309 by turning northeast onto two-lane Doylestown Road. The route crosses into Bucks County and becomes Butler Avenue, passing through Chalfont and New Britain and curving east. West of Doylestown, the business route ends at an interchange with PA 611 in Doylestown Township.
