Peptidase inhibitor 15 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PI15 gene. [5]
This gene encodes a trypsin inhibitor. The protein shares similarity to insect venom allergens, mammalian testis-specific proteins and plant pathogenesis-related proteins. It is frequently expressed in human neuroblastoma and glioblastoma cell lines, and thus may play a role in the central nervous system. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
Alpha 1-antichymotrypsin is an alpha globulin glycoprotein that is a member of the serpin superfamily. In humans, it is encoded by the SERPINA3 gene.
Matrix metalloproteinase-14 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MMP14 gene.
Membrane-bound transcription factor site-1 protease, or site-1 protease (S1P) for short, also known as subtilisin/kexin-isozyme 1 (SKI-1), is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MBTPS1 gene. S1P cleaves the endoplasmic reticulum loop of sterol regulatory element-binding protein (SREBP) transcription factors.
Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 18 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the ADAM18 gene.
Calpain-9 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CAPN9 gene.
