Per-Ove Ludvigsen (born May 20, 1966) is a Norwegian former footballer. He played for SK Brann, after joining from local rivals Fyllingen Fotball after the latter club's relegation from the Norwegian Premier League in the 1993 season. [2] In the 1990 season he won the first ever Kniksen award as a defender. [3] He sent Brann to the cup final in 1999 with a goal in extra time in the semi-finals against Molde FK. Ludvigsen was injured but had to play since Brann had used all its substitutes. [4] He earned one cap for Norway in 1990. [5]

After retiring in 2001, Ludvigsen was hired as Sport Director at SK Brann. With his few comments in the media, Ludvigsen presented many surprising transfers, many at the end of the transfer-window. Some of the players Ludvigsen is credited to have contracted are Thorstein Helstad, Bengt Sæternes, Paul Scharner, Eirik Bakke, Seyi Olofinjana and Martin Andresen. [6] On November 2, 2006, Ludvigsen surprisingly quit his job at SK Brann, saying that he took his part of the responsibility for Brann's lowly finishes in the Premiership in both 2005 and 2006. [7] In 2007 the team won the Norwegian league.

Ludvigsen worked as a football agent, [8] but returned to SK Brann as a scout from the 2018 season. He is a brother of Inge Ludvigsen.

Cato Guntveit is a retired Norwegian footballer who played for SK Brann the most of his career. He was the captain of Brann from 2004 until Brann coach Mons Ivar Mjelde decided Martin Andresen should take over the captaincy prior to the 2006 season. Guntveit played briefly for local club Fana before joining Brann in 1995. He also spent two seasons at Aberdeen, but played in Brann from 2002 to 2010. Guntveit is married and has three children. One of the few "local lads" in Brann, he owns and works in a toyshop in Bergen. He retired from football in after the 2010 season.

Stord Sunnhordland Fotballklubb was an association football club located in Leirvik, Stord, Norway. It was founded in late 2002 as a cooperation between the football sections of Leirvik's local multi-sports club Stord IL and lower-division Moster IL. The club was named Stord/Moster FK until 2006. Two investors, football agent Terje Simonsen and professional footballer Kjetil Løvvik, were behind the merger. It was founded to create one large club in the Sunnhordland region, to attract support behind the club. Critics claimed that the investors were mainly looking to develop players to sell for cash. The season opened on 10 April, with a tie in Fredrikstad, in a match best remembered by an impressive scissor kick goal from Charlie Miller. 8 month later, on 10 December, Brann finished the season with a tie against Helsingborgs IF in their last group stage match in the 2006-07 Royal League.

The 2012 season was Brann's 26th consecutive year in Tippeligaen, It was Rune Skarsfjord's second full season as the club's manager. Brann competed in the Tippeligaen, finishing 6th, and the 2012 Norwegian Football Cup where they were knocked out by eventual winners IL Hødd at the semi-final stage.
