Callea's debut single, a cover of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli's song "The Prayer" is the fastest-selling single by an Australian artist, held the No.1 spot on the ARIA Singles Chart for five weeks, a record for the debut single of an Australian Idol contestant, and was the second-highest selling Australian single of the last decade.

"The Prayer" was originally recorded in two solo versions for the 1998 film Quest for Camelot, in English by Dion and in Italian by Bocelli. A duet between Dion and Bocelli later appeared on their respective studio albums, These Are Special Times (1998) and Sogno (1999), and was released as a promotional single on 1 March 1999. "The Prayer" won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1999 and a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals in 2000. It received highly positive reviews from music critics and entered adult contemporary charts in Canada and the United States in 1999. "Live for Love" is a pop rock ballad by Anthony Callea from his second album A New Chapter (2006), and the first single released from the album. Anthony performed the song live at Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne on 9 November, and also on Australian Idol 2006 elimination night on 6 November. When purchased at the iTunes Store, this single comes with an exclusive track entitled "Meant for Love", which didn't make the album's final cut.
A New Chapter is the second album from Australian pop singer Anthony Callea. It features the singles "Live for Love" and "Addicted to You", both of which Callea performed at popular morning show Sunrise. Callea co-wrote fourteen of the fifteen songs over a year. The album runs a length of just over an hour, containing many more upbeat and rocky songs in comparison with his self-titled debut.
"Addicted to You" is the second single by Anthony Callea from his second album A New Chapter. The single was released on radio on 12 December 2006. "Addicted to You" has a more contemporary pop-rock sound which Callea explores in his second album, and is very different from the ballad sound in his previous single "Live for Love".
