"Perfect World" was composed by Woo Min Lee "collapsedone",Justin Reinstein,JJean and LACND,with lyrics written by Risa Horie. [4] Running for 3 minutes and 3 seconds,the song is composed in the key of D-sharp minor with a tempo of 135 beats per minute. [5] "Perfect World" was described as a fast-paced song that depicts a "strong woman" who is unfazed by any situation. [6]
The song's music video,directed by Yoojeong Ko,was released on YouTube on June 29,2021. [7] [8] In the video,Twice perform the song on a luxurious stage in a theatre.
