Pete's Dragon is a 1977 American live-action/animated musical fantasy film directed by Don Chaffey, produced by Jerome Courtland and Ron Miller, and written by Malcolm Marmorstein. Based on the unpublished short story "Pete's Dragon and the USA " by Seton I. Miller and S. S. Field, the film stars Sean Marshall, Helen Reddy, Jim Dale, Mickey Rooney, Red Buttons, Jeff Conaway, Shelley Winters, and the voice of Charlie Callas as Elliott.
"Candle on the Water" is a torch song written by Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn for Walt Disney Pictures' 1977 live-action/animated film Pete's Dragon. Originally recorded by Helen Reddy, who plays Nora in the film, the song was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1977, though it lost to "You Light Up My Life".

The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Oakes Fegley, Wes Bentley, Karl Urban, Oona Laurence, and Robert Redford. The film tells the story of an orphaned feral boy who befriends a dragon in the Pacific Northwest, and the ensuing repercussions of their discovery by the town's residents.
Daniel Frederick Hart is an American musician, composer and classically trained violinist. He has released music as a soloist and with his bands The Physics of Meaning and Dark Rooms. He has also toured and recorded with numerous bands, including St. Vincent, Other Lives, John Vanderslice, Swans, The Rosebuds, Annuals, Glasser, Broken Social Scene, Pattern Is Movement, Mount Moriah, The Polyphonic Spree and Sarah Jaffe. In 2012, he wrote and recorded the score for David Lowery's film Ain't Them Bodies Saints, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2013. He wrote the scores for Pete's Dragon (2016), A Ghost Story (2017) and The Green Knight (2021). He lives in Los Angeles.

The story follows Peter Pan and Wendy, who go to the magical world of Neverland with Wendy's brothers and Peter's best friend Tinker Bell. Along the way, Wendy embarks on the adventure that will change her life and encounters Peter's archenemy Captain Hook.

Incredibles 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to the 2018 film Incredibles 2, the sequel to Pixar's The Incredibles (2004). The film is directed by Brad Bird and featured musical score composed by Michael Giacchino, who also worked on the predecessor. The recording of the score began during mid-2017 and continued till May 2018, at the Sony Scoring Stage in California. The soundtrack album was released digitally, alongside the film, on June 15, by Walt Disney Records and in CDs on June 29. The soundtrack featured Giacchino's scores as well as vocalised theme songs for Mr. Incredible, Frozone, and Elastigirl featured in the credits. The digital release also featured bonus versions of the theme songs sung by Disney's a cappella group, DCappella, and their version of the track "The Glory Days" from the predecessor.

The musical score is composed by Alan Silvestri, who regularly collaborated in all of Zemeckis' films. Besides producing the score, Silvestri also wrote new songs for the film, with songwriter-producer Glen Ballard, while the songs from the original counterpart were also featured in the album. Walt Disney Records released the soundtrack album on September 6, 2022.
The Black Cauldron: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the animated dark fantasy adventure film The Black Cauldron. The film, unlike other ventures, does not feature any songs, which was a rarity in Disney films. The film, however, featured musical score composed by Elmer Bernstein. Due to the last-minute revisions, much of Bernstein's score were cut and unused. In its minority, the score was re-recorded for the album's first release by Varèse Sarabande in 1985, with Bernstein conducting the Utah Symphony Orchestra. The album soon fell out of print and many of the film's score did not resurface until a bootleg copy entitled "Taran" was supplied to soundtrack specialty outlets in 1986. The full score was re-issued by Intrada Records on April 3, 2012 which consisted of 75-minutes long.

The album was released on August 12, 2014 by Sony Music and features 20 tracks from the score. It was preceded by a mix of songs from the film released into a separate 10-song soundtrack titled The Giver (Music Collection), on August 5, by Interscope Records, led by OneRepublic's original song "Ordinary Human" written for the film.

The London Symphony Orchestra performed the original score that featured various instruments such as keyboards, clarinets, strings, arpeggio and bombe. The album was released on November 7, 2014 by Sony Music Entertainment. The album received critical acclaim and was nominated for several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Original Score but lost to The Grand Budapest Hotel, also composed by Desplat.
