Peterson-Schriever Garrison (P-S GAR) is a United States Space Force garrison command. It is assigned to Space Operations Command and headquartered at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. The Peterson-Schriever Garrison is responsible for Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever Space Force Base, and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station in Colorado, Thule Air Base in Greenland, New Boston Space Force Station in New Hampshire, and Kaena Point Space Force Station in Hawaii. [5] The Peterson-Schriever Garrison was activated on 24 July 2020, replacing the 21st Space Wing and the 50th Space Wing. [6]

Buckley Space Force Base is a United States Space Force base in Aurora, Colorado named after United States Army Air Service First Lieutenant John Harold Buckley. The base is run by Buckley Garrison, with major units including the U.S. Space Force's Space Delta 4,, the Colorado Air National Guard's 140th Wing, the Denver Naval Operations Support Center, and the NRO's Aerospace Data Facility-Colorado.
New Boston Space Force Station is a United States Space Force facility located in Hillsborough County in south central New Hampshire. It was transferred from the United States Air Force to the Space Force in the summer of 2020. The installation occupies more than 2,800 acres (11 km2) in three towns: New Boston, Amherst, and Mont Vernon. It was originally established in 1942 as a practice area for bombers and fighter planes from nearby Grenier Army Air Field. Starting in 1959, it was turned into a satellite-tracking station, providing the facilities most prominent feature, the weatherproof radomes which dot the hillside. Since 2020 the facility has also provided line of sight telemetry tracking for commercial space launches by SpaceX
The 50th Space Wing was the United States Space Force's space and cyber warfare wing. The 50th Space Wing was assigned to Space Operations Command and headquartered at Schriever Air Force Base.

James Earl Smith is a United States Space Force brigadier general who has served as the Deputy United States Military Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization since July 2021. He most recently served as the commander of the Peterson-Schriever Garrison, a new unit in the United States Space Force. He was previously the commander of the 50th Space Wing before it was inactivated and replaced by the Peterson-Schriever Garrison. He was also nominated for transfer to the U.S. Space Force and promotion to brigadier general.
