Philipp Boy (born 23 July 1987 in Schwedt, East Germany) is a former German gymnast.

He was a member of the 2007 and 2010 World bronze medal winning teams. In addition, he won back-to-back silver medals in the World All Around competition (2010 and 2011). He is the 2011 European All Around Champion. In the 2011 World Championships, Boy won the silver all-around because of his high bar routine. He received a score of 16.066, the highest score on high bar by far.

2007

The German men's team won bronze at the World Championships. Boy finished 18th in the individual all-around final.

2008

The German team placed second at the European Championships.

Boy was part of the German Olympic team. He placed 13th in individual all-around finals.

2009

Boy placed fourth in the individual all-around finals at the European Championships.

2010

Boy was part of the team that finished first in the team all-around at the European Championships. He also tied for the bronze medal on high bar with countryman Fabian Hambüchen.

At the World Championships in Rotterdam, the men's team won the bronze medal. Boy won a silver medal in the individual all-around competition. He also qualified to the high bar finals, where he finished fourth.

2011

Boy won the individual all-around title and silver medal in the high bar final at the European Championships.

At the World Championships in Tokyo, the German team placed sixth in the team final. Boy again placed second in the individual all-around behind Kōhei Uchimura. He also qualified for the high bar final, where he placed seventh.

2012

The German team placed sixth at the European Championships. He qualified for the high bar finals and finished eighth.

Boy competed as part of the German Olympic team. The German men's team qualified to finals in fourth place, but placed seventh in the team finals. Boy competed in the qualification for all-around finals and placed 17th, but was prevented from competing in the all-around finals by the two-per-country rule, as Fabian Hambüchen (3rd) and Marcel Nguyen (7th) placed ahead of him.

On 1 December 2012 Boy announced his retirement from competitive sports. [1]

2017 he participated at Ninja Warrior Germany on RTL and failed in the Qualification at the second Obstacle. 2018 he reached Round 2 Semifinalqualification. 2019 he reached the final with his best result so far.

He participated 2017, 2018 and 2019 and in all three times he reached the second place.

Steliana Nistor is a Romanian former artistic gymnast. She was a key member of the Romanian team between 2006 and 2008, where she helped the Romania win team bronze medals at the 2007 World Championships and the 2008 Olympics. Individually, she is the 2007 world all-around and beam silver medallist, the 2007 and 2008 European silver medallist on the uneven bars and the 2007 bronze medallist on the balance beam. Nistor was a strong all-around competitor but her best events were balance beam and uneven bars.

Fabian Hambüchen German gymnast

Fabian Hambüchen is a retired German gymnast who was Olympic, World and European champion. Fabian also won gold medals at European Games and at 2015 Summer Universiade. He has a full set of Olympics medals, one in each colour, as he is the 2016 Olympic champion, 2012 Olympic silver medalist and 2008 Olympic bronze medalist on the individual horizontal bar event. He became World champion on horizontal bars in 2007 Stuttgart.

Yuri Sergeyevich Ryazanov was a Russian artistic gymnast. He was the 2009 World All-Around bronze medalist, the 2009 Russian All-Around national champion, and the 2007 & 2009 European All-Around bronze medalist. He was a member of the Russian teams that won the gold medals at the 2008 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships and silver at the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Ryazanov competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, placing 17th in the All-Around qualification.

The men's horizontal bar competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held on 9 and 19 August at the Beijing National Indoor Stadium. The eight competitors with the highest scores in qualifying proceeded to the men's horizontal bar finals. There, each gymnast performed again; the scores from the final round determined final ranking. There were 76 competitors from 27 nations that competed on the horizontal bar, with nations in the team event entering up to 5 gymnasts while other nations could enter up to 2. The event was won by Zou Kai of China, the nation's first victory in the horizontal bar. Jonathan Horton won silver, the United States' second consecutive Games with a silver medalist in the horizontal bar. There were 41 competitors from 27 nations, counting only those gymnasts who performed on all six apparati during the qualifying round. The event was won by Kōhei Uchimura of Japan, the nation's first victory in the men's all-around since 1984 and fifth overall. Uchimura was the 14th man to earn multiple all-around medals, adding to his 2008 silver. Germany's Marcel Nguyen earned silver, the first men's all-around medal for a German gymnast since the 1936 Games in Berlin. Danell Leyva of the United States took bronze.

The men's parallel bars competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom was held at the North Greenwich Arena 1 on 28 July and 7 August. There were 71 competitors from 33 nations. The event was won by Feng Zhe of China, the nation's second consecutive victory in the parallel bars and third overall. David Sagitovich Belyavskiy is a Russian artistic gymnast. Elisabeth Seitz German artistic gymnast

Elisabeth Seitz is a German artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 World bronze medalist on the uneven bars, where she is known for her exciting routines. She is one of the only female gymnasts in history to compete the Def release, and her eponymous skill, a full-twisting Maloney called the Seitz, is the most difficult transition element on the apparatus. Seitz has also had success in the individual all-around event, where she is the 2011 European silver medalist and a five-time German national champion. A two-time Olympian, she represented Germany at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she led her team to a sixth-place finish and placed fourth in the uneven bars final.

Marcel Nguyen German artistic gymnast

Marcel Van Minh Phuc Long Nguyen is a German artistic gymnast. He is the 2012 Olympic silver medalist in the all-around and on parallel bars as well as the 2011 and 2012 European Champion on the latter. He has been a soldier in the Bundeswehr since July 2007, beginning when he was training in the Bundeswehr Sports Development Group in Munich.

Final Five (gymnastics) 2016 US Olympic gymnastics team

The Final Five was the United States women's team in artistic gymnastics that won the team event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. It was the United States' third gold medal in the event and second outside the United States. The five members of the team were Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian, and Aly Raisman, with MyKayla Skinner, Ragan Smith, and Ashton Locklear serving as the three alternates. After the team event, Biles won a gold medal in the individual all-around event, the vault, and on floor exercise and won a bronze on the balance beam; The previous team to medal in every event, including the team and individual all-around, was the Unified Team at the 1992 Games; the only previous U.S. team to do so was at the boycott-reduced 1984 Games.
