Philippe Lincourt-Joseph (born November 1, 1994) is a Canadian professional soccer player who played as a midfielder.
Lincourt-Joseph was born in Laval, Canada, a suburb of Montreal. [1] At the youth level, he played for Montreal-area clubs Les Étoiles de L'Est, CS Chomedey, CS Monteuil, and FC Boisbriand before joining Montreal Impact Academy in 2012. [2]
Lincourt-Joseph played with the Montreal Impact Academy in the Canadian Soccer League's] first division in 2012. [3] The Impact would secure a playoff berth by finishing second in the division and he also helped the team produce a nine-game undefeated streak. [4] [5] In the first round of the postseason, Montreal would defeat Toronto FC's academy to advance to the next round. [6] Montreal would defeat the York Region Shooters in the next round securing a berth in the championship finals. [7] He would participate in the championship final match against Toronto Croatia where Montreal was defeated. [8]
He would also make an appearance with the Montreal Impact's reserve squad in the MLS's reserve division in 2013. [9] After Montreal departed from the CSL in 2013, he played with the youth squad in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. [10]
In 2014, he continued playing with Montreal's youth team this time in the American-based Premier Development League. [11] [12]
On March 13, 2015, it was announced that Lincourt-Joseph would join FC Montreal, a USL affiliate club of the Montreal Impact for their inaugural season. [13] [14] He made his professional debut for the club on March 28 in a 2–0 defeat to Toronto FC II. [15] He re-signed with the club the following season. [16] Throughout his two seasons with Montreal, he appeared in 42 matches. [1]
In 2017, Lincourt-Joseph signed with Portuguese third-division club C.D. Fátima. [1] [17] In total, he played in 7 matches and scored 1 goal. [1]
In July 2018, Lincourt-Joseph signed with Oman Professional League club Al-Rustaq SC. [18] [19]
On 26 February 2019, Lincourt-Joseph signed with Canadian Premier League side FC Edmonton. [20] [21] He made his debut for Edmonton on May 12, 2019, against Pacific FC. [22] Lincourt-Joseph also made his debut in the Canadian Championship on June 5, 2019, against York 9. [23] [1] In his debut season in the Canadian circuit, he made 11 league appearances. [1] At the end of the season, Edmonton announced he would not be returning to the team for the 2020 season. [24]
Montreal Impact Academy
Laval Dynamites were a Canadian soccer team, founded in 1997. The men's team was a member of the Canadian Professional Soccer League/Canadian Soccer League, the highest professional soccer league in Canada, and played in the National Division. The team played as the Montreal Dynamites in 2001 and 2002. The team essentially moved to Trois-Rivières and became the Trois-Rivières Attak for the 2007 season.
Trois-Rivières Attak was a Canadian soccer team that played three seasons in the Canadian Soccer League. They formally served as a reserve and academy team for the USL First Division side Montreal Impact. The club was an instant success within the league, winning titles in all three seasons when it competed in the CSL. In 2010, when the Montreal Impact founded their own academy the team ceased operating as a farm team, because of the ended cooperation with the Impact; they announced that they would take a one-year absence from the Canadian Soccer League in 2010 and return for the 2011 season. The team did not return for the 2011 season.
The Canadian Soccer League was a Division 1 professional soccer league that operated for six seasons between 1987 and 1992. It was a nationwide league that had teams in six provinces over the course of its history. It was the last top-division league in Canada until the Canadian Premier League began play in 2019.
CF Montréal Academy is a soccer academy based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They are the academy of Major League Soccer club CF Montréal. Founded in 2010, they operated a team in the Canadian Soccer League from 2010 to 2012. Their U-23 team played in the USL Premier Development League in 2014.

The 2012 Canadian Soccer League season was the 15th since its establishment where a total of 28 teams from Ontario and Quebec took part in the league. The season began on 5 May 2012, and concluded on 27 October 2012. Toronto Croatia defended their championship in a 1–0 victory over the Montreal Impact Academy in the CSL Championship final at Centennial Park Stadium in Toronto. Montreal became the second Quebec club after Trois-Rivières Attak to reach the final, while Toronto added more silverware to their cabinet by winning the double during the regular season. In the Second Division SC Toronto B won their first Second Division championship, and TFC Academy II secured the regular season title.
