Picasso Animation College is an animation college in India headquartered in Delhi, India. [1] It runs in collaboration with Centennial College, Canada. [2] [3]

Picasso Animation College, headquartered in New Delhi, provides education in digital animation in conjunction with Toronto's Centennial College. [4] [5] [6] Picasso Animation College held its first convocation at its Hyderabad campus in 2010, hosted by its director general, O. P. Sharma. [7] There used to be a full-credit, 10-month program of Digital Animation (with an optional Art Design Fundamentals electoral the year before) with Centennial providing industry-trained instructors, including Philip Edward Alexy. [8] [9] However, as of 1 December 2011, Centennial now only offers a minor non-credit Adult Educational certification in Picasso's STAR program.[ citation needed ]

He was noted for his comic timing and underplaying a character in the true sense of the word. In a career spanning 30 years he acted in some 30 films. He died in Haldwani, on his way to Delhi from Nainital, to where he had travelled to scout for locations for his upcoming debut directorial feature film.

Aditya Jha is an Indo-Nepalese Canadian entrepreneur, philanthropist and social activist. The Indian Animation Industry encompasses traditional 2D animation, 3D animation and visual effects for feature films. In 1956, Disney Studios animator Clair Weeks, who had worked on Bambi, was invited to Films Division of India in Mumbai to establish and train the country's first animation studio as part of the American technical co-operation mission. He trained a core group of Indian animators, whose first production was a film called The Banyan Deer (1957). Veteran animator Ram Mohan started his career at Films Division's Cartoon Unit.

Vivek Maddala is a four-time Emmy-winning composer who focuses on writing music for feature films, theater and dance productions, and television. He is known for composing music scores for films such as Kaboom, Highway, and the Peabody-winning American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs, as well as for silent film restorations for Turner Classic Movies, including a 90-minute score for the Greta Garbo film The Mysterious Lady (2002). Additionally, Maddala writes, produces, and performs as a multi-instrumentalist with various recording artists. He is a Sundance Lab Fellow for film composition, and has had work premiere at the Cannes, Toronto, Berlin, and Sundance film festivals. Maddala has received six Emmy nominations, with four wins, in the category of "Outstanding Music Direction and Composition."

The Local Train is an Indian rock band formed in Chandigarh in 2008, and based in New Delhi since 2015. The band's current lineup consists of lead guitarist - Paras Thakur, bassist - Ramit Mehra, and drummer and percussionist - Sahil Sarin. In April 2022, the band announced that their vocalist / frontman Raman Negi has left the band.
