"Piece of My Heart" is a song by German Eurodance project Intermission. Written by Nosie Katzmann and Tony Dawson-Harrison from Captain Hollywood Project, it was released in August 1993 by Blow Up and Intercord as the second single from the album by same name (1994). It features vocals by American singer Valerie Scott and uses the interpolated melody of the 1983 song "Send Me An Angel" by Australian band Real Life. [1] The single was a top-10 hit in Austria, Germany and Spain. It spent 12 weeks on the German Singles Chart. [2] In 2003, trance music duo Grey & Frost updated "Piece of My Heart" into a modern hard trance sound.

Chart performance

"Piece of My Heart" was a major hit in several European countries, entering the top-10 in Austria (9), [3] Germany (8), [4] and Spain (7). It spent two weeks as number eight and 12 weeks within the German Singles Chart. [4] Additionally, it reached numbers 40 and 42 in Switzerland and Belgium. [5] [6] The song debuted on the Eurochart Hot 100 at number 78 on 30 October 1993, after charting in Austria and Germany. [7] It peaked at number 33 in January 1994. [8] Outside Europe, "Piece of My Heart" was a top-20 hit in Israel, peaking at number eleven in September 1993, as well as reaching number 188 in Australia. [9]

"Sex on the Phone" is a song recorded by German eurodance project E-Rotic. It was released in June 1995 as the third single from their debut album Sex Affairs. As the title suggests it, the main theme of the song is phone sex. The single reached number six in the German Singles Chart and was ranked for 14 weeks. It was also a hit in Austria where it reached number two and totaled 14 weeks in the top 30. In other European countries, it achieved a minor success, failing the top 20 in most of them. The song was later included on E-Rotic's compilations Greatest Tits and Dancemania presents E-ROTIC Megamix.

The chorus is sung by Nancy Coolen while the rap parts are performed by Stay-C. Maria Jimenez from Music & Media described "Is It Love" as a "sugar-coated highly commercial track".

"Let This Feeling" is a song by Dutch TV host, singer and MTV VJ Simone Angel, who also co-wrote it. Produced by Italian Eurodance act Cappella, it was released in 1993 by A&M Records and became a European hit, peaking at number three in Finland, number 15 in Switzerland and number 17 in Austria. On the Eurochart Hot 100, the song reached number 51 in January 1994. Outside Europe, "Let This Feeling" was successful in Israel, peaking at number eight. The music video for the song was directed by Scottish director Matthew Glamorre. It features Simone dancing in a silver flashing kaleidoscope thing and flying on a pegasus sculpture. The sculpture was made by English sculptor, performance artist, jewellery-maker, and portraitist Andrew Logan.

Additionally, it peaked at number three in Finland, number 10 in Belgium and number 30 in Austria. On the Eurochart Hot 100, the song reached number 60 in March 1996. The accompanying music video for "Baby Boy" was directed by Danish artist Peter Ravn. It featured Me & My dressed like cats, rabbits and nuns. Pan-European magazine Music & Media described the song as "equally up-tempo and infectious" as "Dub-I-Dub". In 2007, the song was included on the act's best of album The Ultimate Collection.

"Can We Get Enough?" is a song recorded by American German-based Eurodance artist B.G., the Prince of Rap, released in 1993 by Dance Pool as the first single from his second album, The Time Is Now (1994). It was co-written by him with the producer of the song, Jam El Mar, and Stefan Benz, and is one of his most successful songs alongside "The Colour of My Dreams". In Europe, "Can We Get Enough?" peaked at number six in Italy, and was a top-30 hit in Sweden and a top-40 hit in Germany. On the Eurochart Hot 100, the single reached number 66 in August 1993. Elsewhere, it was a top-10 hit on the Canadian RPM Dance/Urban chart, as well as a top-20 hit in Israel.

"Give Me the Light" is a song recorded by British, Italy based Eurodance artist Ice MC, featuring vocals by Italian singer Valentina Ducros. Produced by German Eurodance project Masterboy, it was released in 1996 by Club Zone as the first single from Ice MC's fourth album, Dreadatour (1996). The song was a moderate hit in Europe, entering the top 20 in Finland (19), and the top 30 in Austria (30), France (23) and Italy (23). On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Give Me the Light" peaked at number 51 in July 1996. In the UK, it was a top-30 hit, peaking at number 25, but fared even better on the UK dance and club charts, peaking at number three. The single sold 250,000 records and was awarded a gold disc. Its accompanying music video reached the mainstream networks such as MTV.
