Pieces by Rain is the third Korean-language extended play by South Korean singer Rain. It was released on March 3, 2021, by RAIN Company, Sublime Artist Agency and distributed by Kakao M. It is his first EP in three years, since My Life in 2017, and his first musical release since the single "Switch to Me" in January 2021.
The album contains a total of five tracks, including the lead single "Why Don't We", which features Chungha and the pre-release track "Switch to Me" with his mentor and former CEO J.Y. Park. [1]
The project marks Rain's first release in three years. He reunited with his mentor Park Jin-young to release the collaboration song "Switch to Me" on December 31, 2020. [2] [3] Rain also featured Chungha on his song "Why Don't We", which served as the lead single from Pieces by Rain. [4] On March 3, 2021, Rain released the EP, which includes five songs, including "Switch to Me" and "Why Don't We". [5]

Jung Ji-hoon, better known by his stage name Rain, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and record producer.
Lee Seong-hwa, better known by his stage name Gray, is a South Korean singer, rapper and record producer. In 2012, he released his debut single "Blink". In 2021, he released his first studio album Grayground. He is currently signed to hip hop label AOMG.

Ahn Hye-jin, known professionally by her stage name Hwasa, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, fashion model and rapper currently signed to RBW. She debuted as a member of the girl group Mamamoo in 2014. She made her debut as a solo artist in February 2019, with the digital single "Twit".

The EP contains six songs including the lead single "Crossroads". Musically, it is a K-pop album with influences of various styles and genres including synth-pop, EDM and rock.
