The Pitchfork Music Festival 2023 was held from July 21 to 23, 2023 at the Union Park, Chicago, United States. [1] The festival was headlined by The Smile, Big Thief, and Bon Iver. [2] It was broadcast live on YouTube. [3]

The festival was followed by after shows in various venues around Chicago with a line-up, including Grace Ives, Jockstrap, MJ Lenderman, Palm, Mavi, and Soul Glo. [4]

The Pitchfork Music Festival is an annual summer music festival organized by Pitchfork Media and held in Union Park in Chicago, Illinois. Starting in 2011, the festival announced a branch staged in Paris at Grande halle de la Villette. The festival, which is normally held over three days in July, focuses primarily on artists and bands from the alternative rock, hip hop, electronic and dance music genres, although it has also ranged into hardcore punk, experimental rock and jazz in its lineups. While it started as a showcase for just the "cutting edge", it later took on a broader depth and vision, keeping the cutting-edge focus but also including important artists and acts that have influenced newer performers and artists. A branch planned for Berlin at Tempodrom in 2020 was cancelled.

The Moscow Music Peace Festival was a rock concert that took place in the USSR on 12 and 13 August 1989 at Central Lenin Stadium in Moscow. Occurring during the glasnost era, it was one of first hard rock and heavy metal acts from abroad that were granted permission to perform in the capital city,. Over 100,000 people attended and it was broadcast live to 59 nations including MTV in the United States. The event promoted understanding between the Western Bloc and the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War and also raised money to help those addicted to drugs and alcohol. The concert featured six bands from abroad and three Russian bands. The concert ended with the various band members participating in jam session. An album and documentary were released.

Primavera Sound is an annual music festival held at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain, during late May and early June. The Sonisphere Festival was a touring rock music festival which took place across Europe between the months of June and August. The festival was owned by John Jackson and Kilimanjaro Live. It was jointly promoted by K2 and Kilimanjaro Live. It hosted heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Babymetal.

The New Moon Rising World Tour, also referred to as the Cosmic Egg Tour, was a concert tour by Australian rock band Wolfmother. The tour began on 17 September 2009 with a seven-show leg in Australia, followed by a short European tour in October, a North American leg comprising 24 shows and initially called for a second European leg in 2010. This was followed by an eleven show run in Australia, supporting AC/DC. The band then returned to North America, playing Lollapalooza and various other venues, including two shows in Mexico, and toured Asia and Australia in fall 2010. In early 2011, the band played the Big Day Out festivals in Australia and New Zealand. The tour then culminated after a round of festival and headlining dates in Europe over the summer, and went the studio to commence work on a third studio album. The tour was in support of the band's second album Cosmic Egg, and was the first to be completed by the four-piece lineup of the band formed in January 2009 after the original trio's breakup in August 2008.

The Primavera Sound 2019 was held on 30 May to 1 June 2019 at the Parc del Fòrum, Barcelona, Spain. The festival was preceded by the event, Primavera a la Ciutat, which was located in the downtown Barcelona, featuring many performances including Big Red Machine, Deerhunter and Apparat.

The 2018 Bonnaroo Music Festival was held June 7 to 10, 2018 in Manchester, Tennessee. This marked the seventeenth consecutive festival since its inception in 2002. It was projected that 76,000 people attended the festival across the weekend. The headliners were rapper Eminem, rock bands The Killers and Muse.

The Primavera Sound 2017 was held on 29 May to 4 June 2017 at the Parc del Fòrum, Barcelona, Spain.

The NOS Primavera Sound 2017 was held on 8 to 10 June 2017 at the Parque da Cidade, Porto, Portugal. The festival was headlined by Bon Iver, Aphex Twin and Justice.

The Primavera Sound 2022 music festival was held from 2 June to 12 June 2022 at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona and Sant Adrià del Besòs, Spain. After both the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival returned featuring a new two-weekend format which combined many bookings from the scheduled 2020 and 2021 lineups while adding new artists as well.

The Roskilde Festival 2022 was held on 26 June to 2 July 2022 in Roskilde, Denmark.
