Pixie Polite is the stage name of Mark James Dudley Wickens, [1] a British drag performer most known for competing on series 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK .

Career

Pixie Polite competed on series 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK . On the first episode, "Pixie paid homage to BBC comedy Only Fools and Horses in a drag outfit inspired by Del Boy, with a second look inspired by clouds and rays of sunshine." [2] For Snatch Game, she impersonated Shirley Bassey. [3] Pixie Polite eliminated Dakota Schiffer from the competition, [4] and ultimately placed fifth in the semi-finals. [5] [6] Following Drag Race, she toured with her fellow series 4 contestants. [7]

Pixie Polite released her debut single "Give It To Ya" in 2022. [8] The track received a music video. [9]

Personal life

Pixie Polite is from Brighton. [10] Pixie Polite dated Tia Kofi for approximately five years; both were members of the group The Vixens. [11] Pixie Polite uses he/they pronouns out of drag and she/her pronouns in drag. [12]

Christopher Delmar Caldwell, known by his stage name Caldwell Tidicue, better known as Bob the Drag Queen, is an American drag queen, comedian, actor, activist, musician, and reality television personality. Eureka, also known as Eureka O'Hara and Eureka!, is the stage name of Eureka D. Huggard, an American drag queen and reality television personality. Eureka rose to prominence competing on the ninth and tenth seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race. She was removed from the ninth season due to a knee injury, becoming the first contestant in the history of the show to be sent home due to injury; she was then given an automatic berth to season 10, where she placed as runner-up. In 2021, Eureka competed on the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, where she once more placed as a runner-up.

The second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK began airing on 14 January 2021 on the BBC Three section of BBC iPlayer and WOW Presents Plus streaming service. The series was confirmed and casting was closed on 15 November 2019. Production was suspended mid 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but resumed late 2020. The cast of 12 new queens was announced on 16 December 2020 and the series premiered on 14 January 2021. It was also announced a special episode RuPaul's Drag Race UK: Queens on Lockdown would air, following the queens during the first lockdown. This special episode was released on 12 February.
