Virus Buster Serge, known in Japan simply as Virus (ウイルス), is a Japanese media franchise. It originated as an adventure game for the Sega Saturn. The game Virus was made in collaboration with Sega and featured characters designed by Madhouse. It was adapted into an anime television series which was directed by Masami Ōbari, produced by Plum, and aired on AT-X and TV Tokyo from October 2 to December 19, 1997. A light novel and second video game were also created.
Hitohira is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Izumi Kirihara. A second animation adaption, Idol Time PriPara, premiered on April 4, 2017 and was succeeded by Kiratto Pri☆Chan in 2018. An upcoming mobile game, Idol Land PriPara was set to be released in spring 2021 but has been delayed to 2022.

The single was announced on February 11, 2019 on a Showroom livestream. The music video for the title track, "Kyun", was released on YouTube and Hinatazaka46's official website on March 5, 2019. The video was shot at a school and features a scene of around 100 people dancing on the school's outdoor field. It debuted at number one on the Oricon Singles Chart with over 476,000 copies sold.
Hinatazaka is the first studio album by Japanese idol group Hinatazaka46. It was released on September 23, 2020. This album is the second released in the group's history after Hashiridasu Shunkan, which was released under the name Hiragana Keyakizaka46.
