The Nigerian National Assembly delegation from Plateau comprises three Senators representing Plateau South, Plateau Central, and Plateau North, and eight Representatives representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom, Jos North/Bassa, Jos South/Jos East, Langtang North/Langtang South, Mangu/Bokkos, Mikang/Shendam/Qua'an-Pan, Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam and Wase. Prior to the evolution of the Fourth Nigerian Republic, there existed the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Republics respectively before it. In the Third Nigerian Republic, there were the senatorial districts of Plateau North, Plateau East and Plateau West. The House of Representatives constituencies consisted of the individual Local Government Areas of the state qualified at that time as Federal constituencies.

Kwara South senatorial district covers seven local government areas which include Ekiti, Oke-Oro, Offa, Ifelodun, Irepodun, Isin, and Oyun.The headquarters of Kwara South senatorial district is Omu-Aran in Irepodun Local Government. Lola Ashiru of the All Progressives Congress, APC is the current representative of the Kwara South senatorial district.
Edo North senatorial district in Edo State comprises six local government areas which consist of Etsako West, Etsako East, Etsako Central, Owan West, Owan East and Akoko Edo. The headquarters of Edo North is Auchi in Etsako West LGA. The current representative of Edo North is comr. Adams Aliu Oshiomole of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Delta Central senatorial district in Delta State, Nigeria covers 8 local governments which include Ethiope East, Ethiope West, Sapele, Okpe, Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Udu and Uvwie. The headquarters of Delta Central senatorial district is Udu. Deputy President of the 9th Senate, Ovie Omo –Agege is from Delta Central senatorial district. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress.
The 2023 Plateau State gubernatorial election will take place on 18 March 2023, to elect the Governor of Plateau State, concurrent with elections to the Plateau State House of Assembly as well as twenty-seven other gubernatorial elections and elections to all other state houses of assembly. The election—which was postponed from its original 11 March date—will be held three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections. Incumbent APC Governor Simon Lalong is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term.
