Pleophylla tongaatsana is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. [1] It is found in South Africa (KwaZulu-Natal). [2] [3]

Description

Adults reach a length of about 9 mm. The pronotum is unicoloured and nearly glabrous. The elytra have dark spots and dense, erect dorsal pilosity. [3]

Etymology

The species is named after its type location, Tongaat. [3]
